This looks fun, but it's not our Medusa

Also, thanks to a talk in the Palutena's thread, I listened to Medusa's japanese voice.

It's... More generic to me. I think that Cree Summer did a better job, seems more aggresive, and her voice fits the character better to me.
But it doesn't mean the japanese voice is bad either! It's another take on Medusa, more calm, but slowly becoming more of a monster through the fight, which also fits the fact she hides her monsterous form.

Considering the fact that Pit's voice actor will be the same as Uprising, and that Sakurai wants characters to be faithful to their appearances, I conclude that the KI characters will keep their VA.

Medusa is causing me to have more freudian slips in Kid Icarus discussions than I particularly want to put up with.

EDIT: I dunno if we'd see Medusa at E3 or anything, but hey either way, E3 excitement.

Palutena confirmed for Smash 4! Now I'm hoping for a villain from Kid Icarus to round out the franchise's representation, not to mention I am saddened by the serious lack of villains in the roster thus far! Come on Sakurai! Hades or (preferably) Medusa, we need another godly villain in the mix!

Well, the underworld army keeps growing, thanks to the Clubberskull seen in Smash Run.

Also, with Palutena being the only character (with the Miis) to have different moves instead of variations of moves in her moveset, we can tell that there's really a focus on Kid Icarus. And Medusa is NOT deconfirmed, where Dark Pit is, and Magnus has also been seen as an assist trophy (but there's no video yet)

Hm... Although I don't mind a veteran confirmed in a trailer, I have troubles imagining a newcommer being fully shown, like this (he is also in Palutena's promotional artwork). I don't really call that a teaser, compared to Pseudo-Palutena, or Galaga (wich was the sneakiest teaser ever )

Alternate skin for Pit, if anything. Like WFT he could even get different voice clips.

If Pittoo was a fully playable character separate from Pit, there's no way they would show him before his reveal.

You know, they did mention my main issue with Palutena being playable ("the Chaos Kin controlled you"), so anything's possible. Of course, Magnus is an AT, and I think Dark Pit/Pittoo might end up being an alternate costume for Pit.

However, Medusa is my favorite Kid Icarus character (and, well, the only thing I liked from Uprising, sadly), so I'm hoping she appears as an Assist Trophy just so I can hear Cree Summer announce that mayhem has arrived.

We've now had pretty much every major character from Uprising confirmed to have some kind of role in Smash, except Medusa and Hades. We're unlikely to get more assist trophies and there doesn't seem to be any suprises left on the two KI stages. Could we really be getting a playable Medusa, and an Underworld stage with Hades as a boss?

I wouldn't put it past Sakurai to have Hades only in codecs with Medusa as a boss.

Also I went to Smash-Fest, and general consensus was in agreement with me. We need more classic 80's Nintendo villains in Smash. Especially everyone's favorite towering, purple, scaly villain.

The game needs more villains in general, so far the only bad guys are Bowser and Dedede, the second of which's villain status is questionable at best!

Well I dunno. I feel like Bowser, Wario, Ganondorf, Dedede, Wolf, and Mewtwo all counted as well as they needed to. But Medusa and a couple more would fill out that need pretty well.
