Had a chat with Bob, we are thinking of having Kong Off 3 sometime with in February.
but we'll need to know when is the best time to have it to get the best turn out and all that.

I'm definitely going to UQ Smash 5 now which should be good to have a first tournament experience. I'm aware it's just a local university tournament and I'll most likely be one of the youngest there at 16, but as I'm entering both Melee and Smash 4 what should I expect from the tournament and what should I bring to the tournament too.

Most important thing is your controller. Equipment such as TVs/monitors, consoles, game discs, adapters etc are always nice. Also wow, a Melee player actually younger than me. Never thought I'd see the day. Welcome to Queensland scene, Hamish! Assuming that is your real name.

Thanks for the info! I probably won't be able to bring any TV's but I'll most certainly bring a Wii U, Gamecube, Gamecube adapter and both games. Also thanks for the encouragement And yes my real name is Hamish haha.

Welcome, 16 is a good age. I started coming to tournaments when I was 16 in 2011, I'm 19 now.
