[QLD] Brisbane/Gold Coast Meets & Tournaments

it's hard to keep a spreadsheet of everybody's performance, because whoever's doing it has to basically attend EVERY tournament, or have a backup guy who knows what's going on. i tried to do one up last year for melee and brawl but i missed a melee tournament and a few brawl tournaments (cause i don't play brawl) then i couldn't get the results and gave up =\

I have a couple of requests.

1. My controllers are still at Bob's and I don't think I can get to them in time. Could someone supply 3 for me please. The reason being, my gf and friend from sunnycoast are coming to the tourney tomorrow.

2. Could someone house my friend? I'll be staying with my gf's brother in brisbane and it may be a bit awkward as it is since I haven't met him yet and bringing my friend along for the night wouldn't help. He's made a couple of posts here. He goes by the name of Meredock on the internetz. He's a pretty cool guy, Doesn't afraid of a lot. Anyways would much appreciate it.

1. Matt's more than willing to keep track of stats for PR, but only for Brawl. He's very keen so why not?
2. PR is important because to have your name up there and be told you are this good currently sets a goal for you to get better.
3. More fun than not having expectations, is having expectations and seeing upsets happen
4. I need to get back to uni work
5. Never say 'don't' or 'can't' or 'too hard' or 'shouldn't'. Try saying 'What can I do to help?' :)
6. I'll repeat those points 500 times or more and have people hate me for it because it's true and I believe it - I only regret being too busy to prioritise it. (Except step 4, which I can always make time for).

EDIT:

So yeah tommorrow. Bring TVs, Wiis, Power etc.

Typical kind of post from you. I can't rely on bob to bring them for me. Hell I can't even get in touch with him half the time. Asking for controllers seems reasonable to me in my situation.

i only have one controller @_@ bob has the rest.. and one is missing. maybe someone will lend u one on the day. at the least during set matches.

Typical reply from you, have you even asked him like, there's this saying called covering your bases, simple concept and you have got half of it by asking every here for 3 controllers, but still ask him.

In fact I just message Bob right now for you and got a reply saying he isn't coming, but you didn't know that did you.

So if I ask for controllers here before asking bob to give me my own, that obviously means I was never going to ask him. :/

Man your logic confuses and astounds me. It has hurt my brain to such a degree that It's taken me a good 15 minutes to try and articulate my thoughts in any intelligible manner. Who asks other people for stuff before you even know if you will have your own stuff there. Sure before that post if you had sent Bob a message and gotten no reply then you could say

But no we just assume because he hasn't messaged straight back in the past that and this time won't be no different so lets just skip that 10 seconds of effort and get right into asking other people.

I see your post and go hey I can help and I message him for you. Turns out he was geographically located near his phone when he received said message to confirm his attendance and replied straight back and he can't bring your stuff. So we are in the same situation but we look like we put a bit of an effort and more people are likely to help then.

Whilst I don't as strongly agree with Accelerate's now deleted sentiment, you can all guess at what it was when I ask you guys to leave the topic alone.

Does it REALLY even matter how I did the order of things? Is doing things reverse really mind boggling for you? No lol. All I'm asking for is controllers for ****s sake. All you ever had to say to me was either "No sorry, don't have any." "Or yea sure I got a couple of spare for you." And if it turns out I could get my controllers from Bob then I would have posted here saying Don't worry about it.

Instead I get a response from you as always being a ******* to me about it because you're so hell bent on giving me **** for EVERY LITTLE THING I do. Can't you just go with it for once?

did someone leave glasses at my house -.-
they are probably cal's (just a wild guess)
they are black ish glasses on the outside, white ish on the inside. have a small english flag on the inside.
they aren't ethans or deans..
these aren't fashionable glasses this look like reading glasses or something for someone who has detieriating vision. turbo glasses.
