Thanks for all the tips! I've actually felt like ive been at a standstill since i started playing brawl (3 weeks)

Vyse i've added you on msn, and yeah its basically a garage with a tv and a wii few chairs, it has carpet and painted walls so it creates the illusion of another room ;)

Awesome, so you live at robina right? I can train it down n play for as long as you want. I have to back in bris sunday arvo though.

@Syke: You're allowed to disagree, I just told it from my perspective. How do you find CPUs helpful? maybe I am misinformed.

@Vyse: sounds awesome.

um so its this year huh... i want to play. never been to one.. i live in brisbane but goldcoast isn't that far...

ide like to talk to someone abit more about it.. i guess

i dont know about tv.. but probably wii i can bring and brawl and meele.. some friends might be interested 2. ill c about the tv =P (not sure to go tho)

But if someone else organises something, hopefuly we can both go to that cause my room can't fit many ppl right now(not until i move) ^^

Hmm... I don't know how it is for Brawl but I'd imagine it'd be similar to Melee.
I'm the same as Zac, I just practiced off CPUs. But I suppose that was only to get my Tech skill better?
I'm pretty sure I learned all my mindgames from CPUs as well - or I already had them up in my head.
Still. I practice/d on CPUs and probably will (and do) for Brawl.
Iono how well placed I am anymore in terms of rank, not that I really care, olol.

Welcome to the new people as well. I never actually said it before but good to have you here. =]

i am so there for this weekend... grav1sh can give me a lift if its outside my travel zone (i use a bike to get around the coast)

Brawling at beach sounds good, HOWEVER, I'd rather HAVE SEX at a beach than play a game, IMHO.
No but really I'd rather be at the beach playing like beach volleyball with all the boys and wrestle with them in the water with nothing but board shorts on, mmm... mmmmmmm...

quick question vyse...with chain grabbing (and letting go) up to 200% i'm not sure how i stand. if i understand it right then some1 cud just infinite grabrelease u from 0% up to 200% without and penalty...
is that right?
i spose u can get out of most chains unless ur a earthbound boy...
is that the thinking behind it?

Grab releasing is different to chain throwing.

Grab releasing is not allowed by any character who can do it on the spot infinitely.

Infinite Grab releasing is allowed against a wall however. Or as a mindgame. Most people will know that they are being grab released after the first re-grab and break out of it then.

Roughly 10 am.

That's when we'll have access since there's a weight watcher's group that uses the place til 10am every saturday.

I *might* let my place act as a mini morning hub for locals to meet up before heading together down the road to the centre.
