Pro Tip: Use Control Stick for SHDL. Simple.I just meant that WDing didn't have the issue of button placement. You could argue that not having to use L/R allows for more control, but that's about it. Now things that require "clawing," to do well, like SHDL while moving... those might find better layouts with custom controls.
Nope. Melee players react to what they hit then lcancel. They'll just react to the lightshield.Oh, I forgot. Light shielding was also a common strategy against stuff like falco's pillar/drillshine. The idea is the lightshield will mess up the player's timing of their L cancel and allow you to punish it.
*Shudders*Light shielding is also for shielding...
If you sucked like G&W![]()
Pro Tip: Be so good that you can Dash Reverse SDHL with Y.Pro Tip: Use Control Stick for SHDL. Simple.
or learn both for character match-ups...Pro Tip: Be so good that you can Dash Reverse SDHL with Y.
Or just do SHL's because they're more accurate and fastfalling them gives you more control over your movement, whichever one.
Have you gotten any response yet?I am applying for a playtest. Please hear the MW out!
To be honest, Full Hop Triple Laser is far more useful than SHDL against floaties.or learn both for character match-ups...
SHDL for jiggs, peach, samus etc
SHL for everyone else
The idea is that they will mess up. This strategy has been floating around the boards (but rarely used) for a long time. Anything to throw off tempo can be useful, just maybe not the best option all of the time.Nope. Melee players react to what they hit then lcancel. They'll just react to the lightshield.
Aside from a few things I say we leave G&W Completely the same as he was in melee but we give him the biggest shield in the game just to see what happens.Light shielding is also for shielding...

Agreed. I've seen people like M2K use it vs Peaches and it works out well.To be honest, Full Hop Triple Laser is far more useful than SHDL against floaties.
Looks like a Ganon/Falcon taunt.BTW I was wondering is there a way to create new taunts? If so then someone has to make taunts out of this.

SHDL shows the most tech-skill though. And yeah, SHDL is overrated. Single or triple have more application.
*Mind ******Looks like a Ganon/Falcon taunt.
*puts that image in your heads* <_<
Completely irrelevant to the applicability of the technique... or Project M, for that matter.SHDL shows the most tech-skill though.
Sell your Wii if Dolphin works on your computer.i'm trying to decide whether i should sell my wii and get myself an xbox 360 to play reach OR keep the wii for the sake of playing P:M in the future
tough decision.
Techskill is overrated if the difficulty is greater than the gain. Just because something is hard(er) to do doesn't mean it's the best option. Cool to look at? Perhaps. Worth learning? Perhaps not.SHDL shows the most tech-skill though.
P:M will ****. Believe the hype. =Di'm trying to decide whether i should sell my wii and get myself an xbox 360 to play reach OR keep the wii for the sake of playing P:M in the future

YOU'RE GONNA GET FONDLED BY GROPING GANONDORF.Raqib is dumb and is trying to do that. Don't, as a majority of the codes that make P:M what it is won't work.
if that is indeed true, i should test my codes through dolphin :O
HYES! Eat that Shadic. :3if that is indeed true, i should test my codes through dolphin :o
