Eh. I always thought Brawl Falco looked cooler. It was Brawl Fox that sucked.
Melee Falco just looks more ******. Never really liked Falco's redesigns. He IS doing Fox too so, doesn't really matter.

As for Wario, just look at how he's played in both B+ and vBrawl. Does it look like he plays in an interesting way? No. He plays gay, he's hit and run, he runs timers in vBrawl and in + he's a combo machine with no real weaknesses other than range. If he's left as he is, with his HUGE AMOUNT OF MOBILITY, he'll be ********.

I'm still fully 100% supporting a change in the moveset to reflect the more popular and awesome Wario Land series Wario. What the team does with that is all up to you guys, but my only broad suggestion is this (which Falco400 mentioned a few pages back anyways).

Should add in the Old Spice Man as a character over Lucario.

He could wash you with body wash for his grab pummels, roar and flex his pecs alternatively for his taunt, and ride a horse for his intro animation. Backwards.

His win music at the end scene would be the old spice tune.

So much potential.

I say Melee textures with Scouters! That would RAAAAAAAPPPPEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wario with no Mobility seems very dumb to me though. like Imagining Wario's range with Melee Kirby's mobility.....sounds kinda whack tbh. Perhaps adding more knockback to would make it more difficult for him to combo mombo people but idk. You can't really say those kind of physics are un-Melee like. Watch some Pink Shinobi vids and Pound 4 Grand Finals.

I have a couple of Wario Land games on my old Gameboy and he does have stupidly insane aerial mobility in those games. I think the big difference if you looked at how he feels in Wario Land (at least the ones I have) and Smash is that right now in Smash he doesn't fall that quickly. If he fell as fast as a stubby fat man would realistically fall (realistically for Smash at least) then his aerial mobility would be much less abusable.

I also like Falco's design in Brawl over his Melee counterpart. The only ones I can't stand are Fox's and Ganon's.

I agree actually. I say make him jump as high but fall fast like Falco but without the falco hitstun lol.

We can import models from most games now, but they'll all be in OBJ format which aren't rigged once you convert them back into MDL0; they're only good for things you don't need to animate (like if we wanted Falco's or Fox's old blaster, but you might as well vertex hack those).

But yeah, GW is just that good.

Peach's Castle has been attempted using MKWii's Castle model, but the proportions aren't satisfactory.
Kongo Jungle has been created, but I only vaguely remember it being either completed or uploaded.
Yoshi's Story (Melee) is being worked on by GW. It's look astounding at the moment.
FoD is being worked on by a doubles team of Mewtwo_2000 and Akuri_Un (sorry if I messed the name up or even put the wrong name >_<).
Venom has been completed by Mewtwo_2000. It's a part of his custom stage pack.
Mushroom Kingdom would be interesting if it's possible to import the bricks from Mushroomy Kingdom.
Brinstar Depths has been imported by GW, but I think he stops to work on character vertex hacks (as seen above).
MKII might've been completed but I don't remember.
Dreamland 64 is being worked on by FroHo (and there's another version by Chuy in progress too).
Kongo Jungle 64 is being worked on, but I can't remember by who...

if you guys like the SSBB falco rather than the SSBM one,

And we really need to make the stage expansion code part of the codeset so we can add stages like Metal Mario stage and Yoshi's Story and yoshi's island and all that without replacing stages...

Whoa whoa, the point having the vertex hack available is to give players a choice; it's the same reason this project will have an alternate sound pack. I guarantee you'll make a large number of Melee Falco mains (and even non-Falco mains, like myself) happy with this although I know a lot more players are looking forward to your Fox hack.

Otherwise, glad to hear you're really going to push for a perfect (or relatively close and still awesome) Melee Fox; I can't wait!

I don't think Pokefloats will be possible for quite some time.
.obj imports are for static meshes, so I don't think you can import them from Melee and expect them to move.
More than half the Pokemon that are floats are absent in Brawl.

because PokePark contains so much pokemons and have MDL0 !
and all the pokemons present in Pokefloats are available in Pokepark !

I have here a .DAE file of FoD, fully textured, with anything that moves taken off (The two platforms that move, the background things that move, all water, ect). With my limited knowledge, I can't convert it to any other format and keep the textures in tact. With OBJ importing being possible, it SEEMS possible to take it, export it to .OBJ, import it piece by piece slowly into the .SZS editor, and then take it into Brawl, but I don't know. I've had no luck. If anyone wants to have a go at it, PM me for the file, but as for now, I give up on this project.

Yeah!...but eventually someone should recreate all of the melee stages...I miss the kongo jungle from melee (the one with the log raft platforms and the big rock on the side that you can grab. To make it more legal you could just not have the shooting barrel that's at the bottom.

That would be one hell of a project, but I forgot about PokePark so it certainly is a good possibility. It'd require a large amount of collision attachments and there would also be a need in some places to create stances and even animate parts.

I love the stages and stuff. I just hope the project doesn't get tooooo big right now that Project M's more important things don't get done....but yeah I'd love to see some old stages. There are gonna be so many neutral stages now its crazy. I'm sure some stages that are neutral in brawl will be banned or counter picks though.

I think stage legality and ideas will be more controlled by player feedback more so than the developers who will at the very least advocate stage hackers to bring in old school stages for the project. It seems like the team doesn't put a great deal of effort into focusing on stages, at least that's what it looks like to me.

I'm merely saying he has too much aerial mobility. If you looked inside his pac and compared his aerial mobility to Jiggly's Melee mobility, you'd understand why I'd want to lower his mobility (I didn't say get rid of, I said lower so he could still weave around but not as much). His current aerial mobility allows for too many shenanigans.

Well I agree in that case. Although I would like to see him **** because i is HILARIOUS!!!! I can see how he has too much. However what are you going to do about his crappy recovery which will probably get worse with bike editions and his UpB being worse then ness's :bee:

Maybe make his Fart charge faster? Why not? Jiggs can press down B and kill people :D. So can fox so...why not ;)

Well I don't know about you, but shouldn't a lightweight balloon have more aerial mobility than an obese fat man with a hogie fetish?
