Wario boards? Wario isn't that bad...he's just got some extremely horrible end lag on some of his moves. If you use his quick less laggy moves to set up opportunities to use the very good but laggy moves safely then...well it works out much better. Think Marth...except you have short range.
The same guy also asked to make Wario:M have different B and Down B, and also suggested WarioWare Wario and WarioLand Wario to be different chars O_O

MaxThunder: Smashboards has a system where if your post is shorter than your signature is, your signature doesn't show. Your signature seems to be fairly long, so that'd be why it rarely shows up as most of your posts are quite short by comparison.

Now, this isn't a social thread, so please keep discussions on SWF features, or anything else not related to Project M to other mediums of communication such as our IRC, AIM, VM, or Private Messages.

I have a feeling that Wario is gonna end up like Toon Link, where half the people think he's garbage and half think he's broken.

Everything is much to black and white. I feel Tink and Wario are both very good. I don't think either are broken. Especially after 2.1 Tink nerf.

Wario is like a heavy Jigglypuff with less jumps. However if you use his Full jump and aerial mobility you can pull of the same kind of tactics most of the time. I think the reason Wario players think he sucks is because they overuse his punishable moves. I'm not sure who's in the top 10 but I can say that Wario is pretty far past 17th currently.

What Tink nerf?
Toon Link's Down-smash stats properly ported from Melee
Toon Link's Forward-air & Back-air had very, very minor hitbox adjustments
Toon Link's Up-B hitbox on the tip of his sword has been reduced very slightly in size

None of them are very major. Except maybe the hitbox reduction.

Has there been any news on ZSS/Samus?

Actually, Demo 2.1 added the ability to also footstool with d-taunt (why not also side-taunt, I have no idea), as well.
Coding limitation. In IASA global routines you can only have as many change action commands as there were originally or some of them simply do not work. There are 3 footstool change actions originally (jump button, tap jump, and auto-footstool). Each taunt is a separate button ID and I did initially have each of those replaced with a taunt button so all 3 worked, but auto-footstools are needed for SSE so I removed the side taunt one (could also auto FS Squirtle's side-b but that was disabled). I'd have to make a complicated assembly code to make the game also check for side-taunt when checking say up-taunt press to effectively turn one change action into two. I needed to do something like that when light shield button IASAs stuff was added.

The tink nerf honestly didn't affect him at all. In fact, if they didn't post that his hitbox sizes were 'slightly' reduced, you probably wouldn't have even known about it unless you actually saw the hitbox data for yourself.

IIRC, Bair's hitbox was so big that it extended almost a slight bit in front of him, and vice versa with Fair. They just reduced it so that it didn't do that anymore. The hitboxes are still very large and do the same things they did before. It just wouldn't be like "WHAT? THAT HIT ME?" if the person was in inside/in front of toonlink when he bair'd, or behind him if he Fair'd.

The up-b was noticably reduced in size, but iirc it was only shaved a bit off the sides... or maybe it was off the bottom and the top? I dont remember, but regardless, it's still pretty gigantic. Before, it would extend further than the animation so it was kinda funny when it hit lol.

Not sure exactly on the exact details of the hitbox sizes, im just going by what shadic generally explained to me.

And about Wario- at first, meta and I thought he was a godawful character, but now that meta has incorporated his jigglypuff playstyle (who he mains in melee) into wario, we saw that he's much better than what we gave him credit for.

Still, we don't think that he's BROKEN, and I highly doubt 50% of the players out there think so, JC. He's simply a solid character, but nothing godtieromgmetaknightbroken by any means.

Meta suggested that he would highly benefit for some better vertical recovery options since he has some amazing offstage potential.

Whoa. Some adjustments there. I didn't even notice, and I am a Tink main!

Am I the only one that thinks charizard's dtilt would be better if the tip didn't act like a KO attack and hit them upwards like the rest of the tail?

Stopped reading there.

I'm sorry but how much crack are you on again? There are implications here that G&W is a bad character. I'm not sure what's going on here.

I'm not saying its bad, it's nice having that long range KO option but I can usually get into ftilt range for that. Since he relies a lot on juggles, I think being able to set them up at that distance would actually be really good.

Just something I thought could be considered while I was using him. Sometimes I would go for the dtilt expecting it to hit them up but then knocks them away at lower percents.

It's probably a recharge cable. I can't see Ninty releasing a wired controller when they could just as easily (and anymore probably cheaply) make it wireless, which is more likely to appeal to consumers. Also I don't see how a word controller is neat. All it does is limit how far one can sit from one's TV.

It also increases the amount of time it takes for a command to get from the controller to the console. I'm not sure how much, but I think it might be a few frames.

that is a recharge cable they showed pictures of it at the nintendo e3 press conference. my only issue with it might be where the right side is. I dunno if they wanted to copy xbox so badly why not just do the same with the controller. I mean heck even the Afterglow effect guys made a ps3 controller feel and look like a 360 one. idk just it looks wierd to me. but at the same time it looks awesome.

Third parties. Nintendo wants to appeal to them. Third parties like the 360 controller.
