watching Castle Siege on Neko's stream reminded me, are the hurtboxes from the giant statues holding platforms going to be removed?

Any plans for the specific time of the demo 2 release? There was a midnight (well, subject to time zone) release for demo 1 iirc. Another(?) midnight release would be pretty hype.

Or saw some weirdo(Is he called the Nostalgia Critic or something?)'s famous review of the room.

O.O
@7:00 in to Neko's video!

I'mguessing TLink is getting recalled:(
What ST said.

Yet another reason why this thing is still in development.

Going to sleep now.

Johnny for Project M.
Side B: Throws football (12% chance of being an OHKO water bottle)
Taunt: "You're just a chicken cheep cheep"
That's all he needs. Nothing else. SS tier.

Guy Cecil:

Neutral B: Center
Down B: Final Cross
Side B: Sword Rain Alpha
Up B: Severing Wind

That's what I used when I played through the game. My Guy was a bartender. He owned a Guy Bar. There were a lot of Guys there. Gailardia.

If I was better at PSA, I'd probably use a field of fonon system where by using B + A after he has done enough damage / shielded from enough hits, he would gather fonon and then he could use the elemental version of his base artes, similar to the Lucario supers.

I mentioned this almost a year ago (like last July), but has the PMBR considered giving Kirby the ability to keep his inhale power-ups after dying and getting hit really hard? I think if its actually possible to code, it would be a pretty sweet deal. Kirby could have some interesting matchups if it could have Falco's blaster the entire match or Sheik's needles without having to worry about losing the power-up after one strong hit to his little pink face.

The give and take of the inhale power is, in my never humble opinion, the most interesting part about it. It gives the game temporary momentum, which is rare.

Also
I'm tired of these motherbreeding anime references in my mothermating thread.
[Leftout]
There's no end to that...

We should talk about things that never get old and aren't anime.
Like pokemon.

I dunno about KOs, but not losing hats upon hits sounds good to me.

I wish it was possible to give Offense Up to Kirby...

Edit: I dunno, I kinda lost interest in Pokemon Black/White. I hate how the game is really easy, the first pokemon game where I can have 5 pokemon and have all of them be stronger than my opponent since really early in the game. And then the game gets really hard, with opponents being like 20 levels ahead. WTF, if I had known, I would train my usual four.

...Do you seriously think Durant and Eelektross are ugly?! They look awesome!
Conkeldurr is supposed to be ugly...
Most of gen V's pokemon look awesome.

Also, gen 1 has Mr. Mime, Original!Jynx, Diglett, Dugtrio, Grimer, Magikarp... need I go on? All gens have designs that are ugly to some people.

My real problem with B/W is that grinding to high levels is still unreasonably tedious; there aren't enough NPCs in the 60-100 level range.

I think that another option would just be to reduce the likelihood that he loses his power after a strong hit.

Audino hunting ftw!

Also, it's not that it's impossible to give kirby offense up. Un fortunately Kirby just might be one of the last characters to get done.

And that is because of two reasons:
1.) Changing the Kirby hats takes a grea deal of time and for the time being, there are characters, stages, asthetics, and physics that have a priority.

2.) Each character's Neutral B, regaurdless to animation and function changes, are different in some way. Not all the neutral B changes are set in stone. Each Kirby Hat has their own ID. They'd might have to change up a character's Neutral B and they would have to do the same for the Kirby hat. It'll be confusing keeping up with two where instead, they could only care about one.

EDIT: Sorry, I have to disagree with you Flowteau on one thing. For me, Gen V had one of the easiest ways of leveling up. (Audino+Lucky Egg on Route 13) but I would have to agree with you on there were ugly pokemon before. I never said that there wasn't. I'm just saying that Gen V (to me) had alot more. But that's just a matter of taste. It doesn't take back from the fact that it is one of the most balanced Gens.
...though I really did wish there was a battle frontier.

Actually it is impossible to give him OU. They had to use Lucas' Final Smash for it. Can't do the same for our pink friend. IIRC the most they could do was make OU a charge and release attack, like Giant Punch, Aura Sphere, whatever Samus' charge B is called, etc.

But that was a long time ago, so it would be really awesome if they found a way.

@Vigilante. That sounds very reasonable actually.

Not sure if its been said, but Kirby should copy their most interesting move; not their neutral B.

i.e. Kirby with Fox's shine/Marth's dancing blade/Link's bombs or boomerang
It would be a whole new world for balance and one of the greatest feats achieved in brawl hacking.

Kirby's biggest problem is that he is too slow on the ground and in the air. Fix one of these somehow and he'll be much better off then with a longer lasting hat. That or give him the ability to start off with a hat at the beginning something like that...idk.

I know it's still being worked on but can I get a "definitely in Demo 2" stage list? I want my music to be ready before I get it.

By the way, those I met at the last event I went to and who come come test with me once every two-three weeks or so love Kirby a lot. believe me, we've managed to make Kirby feel amazing and yet play similarily. Of course, he's not done, but believe me, he's in good hands.
