So there's no option to have him have any viewer to switch the stream over from 360p to 240p? I'm sure that I get a lot of lag on my end because my connection sucks, but I have no issue with other streams that I've seen. Perhaps it's the same for others as well. Just a thought.
AFAIK you have to be partnered with twitch to have those settings available to viewers.

I checked the recording of the stream last night and it was fine. Super good quality in fact, and very smooth from what I saw. So any lag is on the viewer's end, and there's nothing I can do about that. I will see about compressing the video better though.

It's all about the face scar.

btw everyone, we will be streaming again today (with listenable audio) with Vanguard and his crew. Vanguard's got an excellent Lucario. Maybe we'll do a crew battle or free tourney or something. Should be fun.

Ah, I didn't know that. Well, looks like I'm sticking it out with occasionally pauses in the stream due to a lackluster connection, and watching the archives. (Man, and to think that there was a time when 56k was the norm...)

Will the stages shown on the stage select screen in playtester videos (e.g. Temple 64 and Dracula's Castle) be in Demo 2?

...that'd be great.

Just wondering... is the TL Nair animation final, or is it one of those things that'll get updated way down the line because, though it's not perfect, the animation is less important than the function and there are a lot of other functions in the game needing more attention as this function works just fine (function over form) currently?
The nair animation is already looking better than in the image on the website.

If by Temple 64 you mean Hyrule Castle 64 then yes. It was confirmed way back in the "demo patch" days. I hope Dracula's makes it in though.

...But what we all want to know is, will Melee Battlefield be in the demo? :troll:

Updated some pictures on the website.

You may need to ctrl+F5 to make them show up, though.

What's wrong with it... exactly?

Shadic did it. I blame Shadic.

Honestly, at the point the dev-beta is at, y'all could release the current version to the public at any time and any inconsistencies we'd totally be ok with since we know it's a beta.

You think that's bad? I hear we tripled the tripping rate. And now it does 10% damage to the falling character.

You forgot about IC and Olimar. Both of them are incredibly glitchy right now. Just because it's a beta release doesn't mean it shouldn't be professional.

Honestly I play traditional fighters and have never head the term "magic series" before.

Is this like from some other fighter I don't play or is just not a popular term anymore? lol
wat. what communities do you hang out with? lol i hear and see this **** on srk and dustloop on a regular.

its Neko's fault <_<. He's the only one who said magic series.
because that's what it actually is

So I asked around some fighting channels I go to and was like "how do I not know of this term"

Apparently the usage of the term died around 09.

That explains a few things.
>died in 09

wat

no

What's with people not knowing what a magic series is?
The term's been around for more than 15 years, IIRC it originated in CotA, so that would make it almost 18 years old.
yeah it's been around for a while.

deez guys

For us, yes, but remember that this is a public demo. Those of us who follow this thread are a small minority out of the total Smash players who are interested in Project M. They must be presented with a professional and completed product because the thing you said doesn't apply to them.

On a more personal note, I'd be fine with it since I do read this thread =)

After we're done here we're gonna get started on Project MP. Recent streamwatchers (and there were a LOT of them tonight) know what I'm talking about ;)
