Is TL's recovery being like Link64's a permanent idea or no? I'm all for the kill move but yeah.
I love the 64 Up B but as a boost to recovery I suggested giving him tether out of Up B ala bbrawl Link.

Some other Tink ideas:

A shield bash ftilt? could be super quick with low damage and little knockback to set up for an fsmash.

Rolling parry attack as a dash attack? press A in a dash to roll (this would probably have some armor on it), you can roll past the opponent and press A again to do a quick backward bair-like slash behind them.

Spirit Tracks whip as tether? This could be used to give Tink a really powerful and quick zair.

I already mentioned helm splitter as a nair. Looks kind of like MKs nair (although not so fast and choppy) most of the hitbox around it works like Pichu's nair but a hitbox under it sends the opponent down and gives Tink a diagonal boost forward allowing him hop away and put some space between him and the opponent.

To be honest, I don't entirely mind the Link64 UpB, but what gets me is the fact that bomb jumping hurts him way too much for his weight. It's almost as if I'm edgeguarding myself.

The point for him is to have a weak recovery, being able to tether out of Up B breaks that idea of him not having a great recovery. On top of the fact that tethers are already even better than they were before. The trade off is he gets another KO move, one that most of his moves happen to lead into fairly well.

Big no to this idea, from me at least.

I know he is supposed to have a weak recovery but it's currently it's almost comically bad. Pretty much if you get him past the ledge he's dead. I'm not really attached to tether out of Up B I just think he needs a bit of a boost.

Is it possible to lower the damage his bombs do to himself specifically so I'm not eating 12% just for trying to recover with bomb jump? Or would the bombs have to be nerfed all together for that to happen? If the latter, nevermind. I'll just not get knocked off stage.

I really like drsusredfish's Olimar idea in the smashmods thread about letting him cancel his Smash attacks into a dash or jump after the Pikmin leaves his grasp, leaving the Pikmin behind to finish the move and come back. It makes so much sense and would be a good way to speed up his character.

Or make him even spammier by using retreating F-smashes repeatedly.

Everyone. Give me "General P:M" topics for this weeks Project :V Podcast.
Things I want to hear about:

1. The direction that you think the P:M metagame will take (Offensive? Defensive? Both?). What are new things will the characters bring that will change how the game is played as a whole?

2. Stage variation. Will the legal stages tend to be on the classic Melee flat stage with platforms format, or will the Back Room try more experimental stages?

3. What is the Back Room's plan for this mod to make an impact of the Smash community?

4. Anything concerning Demo 2.

Ahh dammit, the pic looked like he was selectable. I knew that...

(Also Static Shock was amazing; I forgot about that show.)

The last I heard of dantarion was him placing 5th on the Skullgirls side-event at SoCal Regionals 2011.
I also found a bug in Skullgirls and Mike Z said he would put me in the credits under game testers. Also, my AI debugger is done, I just don't have time to sit and use it for anything yet.

I spent a good 2 min trying to click and reveal the secret message you have bestowed upon us but then I realized it was just a pair of random blocks you copy/pasted. Boy do I feel like a silly goose

Maybe if you give me a new/faster PC made in 2011....

Seriously, I`ll be back for reals when I get my package. See you all in 2012, when I won`t need to post on the Wii anymore.
