good, being able to latch on to an edge that somebody is already on needs some drawbacks

How many char are we able to choose from if i get this? im buying a wii again very soon, but ima be usin link most of da time anyway but just askin.also anyone do any tourneys online? i would go offline like i used to but my tourney location moved from my area :/

Start up delay akin to firefox/firebird imo
Wait through vulnerable period of charge up then tether sweet spot ledge

The public demo has 15 chars, including Link. At this point I understand the full version is much closer to Melee than to the demo, so you should probably practice Melee in the meantime. (I'd still recommend playing the demo because it's fun trying stuff like using Melee ATs with Brawl chars or using Brawl ATs with Melee chars, and the l-cancel flash is really cool to see for yourself.)
Not sure about the online tournament scene though.

Yea....Since the very first Project M trailer till Now I'd say everything possible has been talked about or thought of......so now it's just a waiting game.

I think I remember you from brawl+. The amount of char depends on when the release day is. We have to see who would be suitable for the public.

Any chance Link and TL are going to be able to pull 3 bombs soon? It just bugs me when I get that whiffed bomb pull and go "oh right, not Melee".

When is the next demo or public release thing?
I applied to be a play tester just to wait a month and be told that the other applicants that play nothing but brawl wifi or people that have one or two tourneys under their belt, more resemble what they are looking for. SMH.

i also went to alot of melee/vbrawl tourneys after Brawl+ died so ima probably make a switch from melee/vbrawl to this cuz i like both and since i got a Capturecard i can hopefully promote this game. i would love to be a play tester for link since he's my main and i have alot of experience with him. i can't wait to get my wii back so i can get this game cuz ive been lurking on the fourms and utube lookin at vid of link and he's looking legit. anyone know when the next build is being released?
If anything, I have never seen an applicant who only have Brawl / Wifi videos get in. As for applicants with no tourney experience, most of them are programmers who end up streaming for the sake of providing footage for the fans. Others are poeple who showed that they were really good in their videos and who play good players on a regular basis were also taken, yes. However, we also review their history.
Attitude, who they won or lost against, if they ever tried to leak our build, if they were ex backroom, what they say in our threads, etc...
Their test also matters for something. Some great players are actually bad designers. We still do prefer good players and tourney experience and placement is is highly-regarded.
You're unhappy about not getting in, I get that. But no one has ever said any of the things you just said, Caroll.

I was just saying that as a player, sure you've probably never heard of me. And I'm not a threat to be top 32 at a melee national. But I am a pretty well know player around my region and on first name basis with many high leel players. Also do have some 1st places and top 5s. In tournament And have taken games off of some pretty high ranking players in friendlies/tourney/MMs.
But it's all in the past. I was really expecting to get excepted and help out but what's done is done.
