If you want Melee, you're wrong because you're an elitist.
If you want Brawl, you're wrong because you're a casual.

Confirmed that everyone that knows what's up, wants 64.

Fire transformation looks a little too plain edited, hope they add to it somehow.

Ground replacing rock is probably needed but I hope that doesn't mean all the PS2 transformations are going to be added, ice and wind are terrible. Electric is ok and the one thing I could see being added, a slower-moving conveyer belt adds atmosphere and isn't broken.

There is no wind, there are two versions for ice: slippery and not, and I doubt he will be able to add the conveyor belts.
Having played on the fire zone for almost a year now, I can say that there is plenty going on. The slopes are still steep, and the asymmetry caused by the one big platform has a bigger impact than something resembling the default. Between fast gameplay and the short time of the transformations, the fire zone is fine.

In the Smash Wars, there are heroes on both sides. Evil is everywhere.

Somebody catch the reference.
Everyone is a Villian and I get the reference even though it's from a bad movie though not as bad as Episode 1.

IF that turns out to be true then Isai will come out of his cave and body everyone.

Isai is probably too busy making gucci plays in 64 to not care about anything else.

"Hey Isai, eat this burrito we made for you"

"Get away from me you filthy casuals, can't you see I'm already being the best with *insert any 64 Smash character*?"

I honestly don't know. IF you can find the Isai cave then maybe you can ask him yourself.

The fire zone is just ugly to look at and could use more colorful visuals, maybe more fire, the layout is fine I'm sure from what you say.

I figured the conveyer belt can't be changed from the current speed but I love the idea of them and wish they just sorta moved you a little at a time, like a saw slowly about to cut somebody in a movie.

To be honest about the PS1 changes, it should be a stage that actively changes. not just asthetically, but as a stage as well. If it doesn't, it's just a glorified version of a different stage pretty much aside from that one phase.

The ice stage should retain the sliding. Wavedashing becomes much more effective, and I'm sure Dacus would be even more advantageous there. Could be great for some shenanigans.

Personally, I'd rather the ice stage have a platform or two as well but you can't have everything.

If I read it correctly, the fire stage is replaced by only one of the ones he created.
That's tragic.

I think if the fire stage was redone a little, and both the ice and electric stages were added it would be a much more interesting stage.

Heh I just watched this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5MgBikgcWnY so it seems everything isn't too hard. Did you also do the other types of A5 and stuff yoyos with detached and stuff? What's the hardest trick ever performed?

I was thinking I'll soon buy this for $9+3 shipping. http://yoyotricks.com/yoyo-videos/yoyo-reviews/fast-201-yoyo-review-yoyofactory/4601/ Though apparently responsiveness is a thing you don't want in more advanced yoyos (unresponsive) to do sleeper tricks or something and of course this design wouldn't be great for the cool finger spin. Should I also buy an unresponsive too?

How hard is this recatch stuff with the end of the string? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbgrRaO169M&index=14&list=PLovBMkMLex7yoq1g9FfqWgMm1iMn4RMcS
If you can already get a yoyo to come back to your hand I wouldn't really recommend the fast 201 id probably go for somthing like http://shop.yoyoexpert.com/product/889/Duncan-Flipside or if you whant somthing you can literaly use at any level of play this http://shop.yoyoexpert.com/product/4/yyj-dark-magic (the dark magic might be a little heavy) they are alittle more expensive but they will get you much farther, will play much betterand have the binifit of coming with two berings one for resopnsive and one for unresponsive play.

The difficulty of tricks is pretty relative but the hardest trick for me to do consistently was black hops but I can do suicides and most of the common whips and I could combo well (comboing in a way that is visually attractive is the hardest part of yoyoing not really the tricks) I never really got into off string or counterweight play so I can't really say much about them.

@ Professor Gravy Professor Gravy Does this Flipside come with a string? What color of the Yoyo do you recommend? What kind of strings and color do you recommend? Do you recommend lube? Thin or Thick lube? Should I get anything else like a finger protector or glove? Yoyotricks also has a double berring thing with this Sage but idk which would be better http://yoyotricks.com/yoyo-store/yotricks/the-sage-yoyo-pro-pack/

Dube has Finesses 50% off right now (thoseare the best diabolos you can buy, maybe, sorta. They're pretty good) http://www.dube.com/diabolo/finesse-diabolos.php Unfortunately, Dube doesn't stock good sticks or good string. These are great sticks: http://www.oddballs.co.uk/mr-babache-xtreme-diabolo-hand-sticks-p-3146.html (My personal favorite - I just love their weight) And this is undeniably the best string that's ever been made ever: http://www.oddballs.co.uk/henrys-string-10m-roll-p-2087.html The orange and green string aren't bad (I've tried them both) but the yellow is just incredible. It never ceases to amaze me how much better that string is than other strings.

I buy from an actual yoyo shop so I don't know what the flip side comes with but you are gonna need extra lube and strings (preferably polyester) anyway, color doesn't matter just pick you favorite yoyo/string color combination, thick lube for noobs, you probably won't need gloves until later (unless your skin is made of wet paper), and I can't for the life of me find any specs for the sage so I can't really say anything about it but I do have a flipside and I know its pretty good for how cheap it is, if you can direct me to some specs for the sage I can give you a better comparison. also you should see my decade old fast 201 you can't even tell what it was anymore.

Well yeah, of course. A kid who doesn't know what a tilt is playing smash with a keyboard isn't gonna play much better with a gc controller. The point is that you would have had an easier time learning given proper equipment, but only if also given proper instruction.

So Prog is stepping down commentary after CEO and EVO due to health reasons that's crazy but I wish him the best :( .
http://www.reddit.com/r/smashbros/comments/28woys/prog_appreciation_thread/

And in other news I totally forgot that that Bomb-oms or however you spell them bounce off walls like that. The more I play without items on, the less I remember about what they do and their properties :( .

It's not like he'll be missing anything. After Evo, there's like a huge break until TBH4. Here's hoping for a quick recovery.

I can't say I find this funny. In fact, I don't get it. He called whistling Italian? Where's the joke? Is it funny to other people when you say that X is Y when they aren't even tangentially related? I feel left out.
I can't say why I find it funny, to be honest. I have no clue why. All I know is that I love dry humor.

Meant to add this earlier, but too lazy to edit, Phillips already won one of the court hearings, according to Screwattack's latest video and is asking for a Jury trial to ban Wii U and Wii (at least in Europe and America).
And because I'm so damn nice, I won't make you click on the video I linked above

Hey guys. I'm back... ANYWAY Sorry to be serious, but we may have a problem... http://www.polygon.com/2014/6/23/5833560/nintendo-loses-uk-lawsuit-regarding-wii-motion-controls
Also, I don't believe it's stated in here, but Wii and Wii U may be flat out banned in general in America because Phillips apparently had a few patents before Nintendo did (I don't believe it though). Stupid patent-trolls.
Good thing I'll always have Melee

Edit: **** my 1000th post is my next one. I need to make it count.
