It's the other way around for me. I love Gen 3's music and nothing stands out to me in Gen 5.

Vs. Wild Pokemon, Vs. Trainer, Vs. Gym Leader, Vs. Magma/Aqua Leader, Vs. Rival, Vs. Champion, Abandoned Ship, Verdanturf Town, Meteor Falls, Kyo/Grou/Ray Battle, Regi Battle, Deoxys Battle, too many great themes in Gen 3 for me to list.

This is why we can never be friends Sapph.
How did I miss this post.

Gen 1's themes were filled and delicious to me. Nothing really stands out as being superbly memorable aside from nostalgia. It was all good though.

Gen 2 has the status of me not caring about most of it. It does get props for having the best gym battle theme, along with one of the best champion themes to me.

Gen 3 is filled with trumpety goodness, and I loved a lot of it.

Gen 4 had a really good soundtrack to me. Cynthia's theme along with her battle was amazing, while giratina's battle from platnium was 2spooky4me but still good. galactic commander theme along with cyrus' theme was great as well. It's been too long since I've played D/P/Pt so I can't actually remember the overworld music right now.

Gen 5 had a bunch of good ****. Like seriously. It's champion theme was lacking but that's made up by N's final battle theme, N's castle, The ending theme, the fanfare that plays when you beat a team plasma member, Colress' theme, Dragonspiral tower, Abyssal ruins. And that Elite 4 theme was insane.

Gen 6 is one of the more forgettable ones. Route 18, the champion theme, elite 4 theme, along with "A terrible past" were the ones that stood out the most.
A lot of the music in the PR videos was good too but it was ridiculously short.

ROB is awesome. I just kind of wish his regular recovery would come back and not the sideways booster recovery that he currently has.

JCaesar is the go to person for ROB development though, so I'm sure there's a good reason behind it. :p

The sideways booster has a positive trade-off of being much better on stage than his old booster.
And it enables quicker recovery and faster access to a ledge grab in most situations, at the cost of a small difference in recovery distance.

Minimum hieght for booster sucks though, i used to play a lot of rob when instant booster fair was positive on shield and it was amazing.

The insta-side-b fair I mean.
Fair was never positive on shield tho, it's always been -3 on shield or worse, which makes insta-jab beat grabs by 1 frame, that's what you were thinking.
To be positive on shield, fair would either need to have 6 frames of landing lag, fastest in the game, or do 18 damage lolol

Is there a list of current info about the frame data and range of grabs in PM?
I'm always complimented on my grabs in Brawl so I'm looking for characters in PM who are grabby grabby.

What do you guys mean by positive and negative on shield?
If a move has + frames on shield, the attacker will be able to act before the person shielding, making them safe to approach with and all that. Having - frames makes a move unsafe and punishable.

Just finished watching some USFV matches, and DAMN did they have to nerf seth as hard as they did?
Fighting him was difficult sure, but with the shoryuken FADC nerf, his shoryuken nerfs, his crossup being nerfed, his hyakuretsukyaku (jesus man) getting nerfed, his invincibility frames during his shoryuken was nerfed, AND his tanden engine getting nerfed.... overkill. I'm probably gonna play seth just because no one else will (lol)

Moves that are negative on block aren't exactly unsafe, remember that a lot of characters have pretty poor oos options and have to rely on a 7 frame grab, so if you have a quick jab for example you can be slightly negative on block and still be safe vs many characters.

You can also be unsafe but spaced far enough away to avoid punishment. Or if a character lacks an OOS option that reaches behind them you can cross up with unsafe moves.

Good, no ones likes Seth anyway. Low-life characters with every tool in the world are just obnoxious.

Magic time again:

I've narrowed my new deck concept down to this:

Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood + Extortion/bleed

Sanguine + Exquisite has been a favorite combo of mine for a while. In a nutshell, sanguine deals damage to target opponent when you heal equal to what you heal. Exquisite heals you for the amount of damage dealt whenever a foe takes damage. You can see the idea here.

It used to go on indefinitely, but has recently been ruled to only loop once per activation. So say 1 damage is dealt to somebody, I would then heal 1 and thus damage them again for 1, ending the loop as one already procced the other. Same with if I heal for 1, just reverse order.

So, naturally if I can heal and damage at tge same time, I'd end up turning 1 dam/heal into 3! Conveniently, Extortion does just that as I get to pay 1 mana extra whenever I cast a black or white spell to deal 1 & heal 1.

Combined with white defenders that provide healing, and nasty black spells and creatures, I think this could be pretty fun.
