looks like ike with a different sword to me.
Ike and chrom look sooooo much different man.
It's just that people use the term "auto combo" not actually knowing what it means instead of just saying "combo". An auto combo is a combo that preforms itself after one input such as ikes final smash(the one input being B). The only auto-combos in smash I'm pretty sure are final smashes and a few multihit moves. An inescapable combo is just a combo, most people refer to small strings with mix-ups and reads as combos in smash because it's easier and the people new to the scene and fgc terminology don't know better.
Hyliiiiian I have a question (anyone can answer btw). I know how to agt with Link/toon link (im better with Toon) but every time I attempt the second agt I always fall straight down because im holding down. Help me :c

About that Ness talk earlier, I'm pretty sure Ness can gimp Falcon at any percent just by charging upsmash. It's a pretty good move.

After you toss the first bomb, you should instinctively just slide the stick down as you are in the throwing motion. You shouldn't be able to FF if you do this quick enough, as you're still in a movement animation from before. Now that you already slid down, you can just tap B to pull another bomb and keep going etc

Ohhh so you gotta slide the stick down as im in the throwing motion?
So i'll just fall normally if I do it right?

So I guess that that Ike confirmation confirms that the previous 'leaked' character list is false! Which means there could be more characters new than just chrom! :)

Yes. If you slide down while you're still tossing the bomb, it takes away the issue of accidentally FFing when you try to pull another bomb. You can also do this method for the actual AGT: while you're pulling a bomb, just quickly shift to the direction you want to AGT and hold it. Makes things 100% easier

Alright, but you're just arguing terminology now which wasn't the point of my post. It's still a 100% guaranteed and inescapable followup every time no matter what. And that is a bad design. Most things are Smash are escapable to some degree, whether it requires situational spacing, timing, (S)DI, certain percentages, or even hoping for the attacker to execute incorrectly (e.g. wobbling in Melee). Snake's throw -> C4 detonate is none of those.
I'm not arguing anything. I'm telling you why he posted that.

I wish I would have went today (if they allow spectators to enter that character tourney). People don't know crap on the non-tourney stages (K9) and don't know how to play other characters (Pikachad). It's similar to how I won this tournament that used HDTVs since I'm accustomed to dealing with wifi (along with playing with casual friends on HDTVs on crazy stages with items) while Oro and others were too high status to play Wifi with me (which would have prepared them lol) http://smashboards.com/rankings/wavedash-wednesday-pm-3-27-13.240/event

Hopefully I have fun when I go sometime Saturday

This was already fake since it's the Japanese version yet the Ice Climbers aren't called "Ice Climber".

I'm not surprised you won the HDTV tournament, at all. I'd be more disappointed if you lost, judging how well you can play on Wifi

A lot of that was already known. Maybe not implemented as well (footstooling shields for example), but plenty of people know about the wonders of glide toss down including OOS Glide Toss down. Impressive still

Edit: some of these setups may not be that guaranteed, either due to buffered rolls once you hit their shield with an attack (possibly including shield DI), or with teching the trips as quickly as you can. Footstool into AGT probably gives you a free hit, and knocking a shielding opponent back into a banana probably gives you a true follow up if you don't have that much lag after your specific attack, but something to note.

Yeah all of it is well known, its been in reflex's thread for ages and weve been talking bout it on the diddy forums for a long time. I just finally got around to puttng it in a character specific video to show case it (i made footstoll video a while back but i wasnt happy with it so i made a new one )
Edit: and yeah buffered rolls get out of a lot of these. These set ups do leave diddy in a strong position to chase down rolls if they do so though. Any item toss after footstools are guarenteed, but most of them require the opponent to sit in sheild or panic so they are more tools than main options.

Eating up side steps is so godlike.

Ya, glide toss down is pretty good. I wonder how well it traps people who jump OOS, whether it can clip them before they jump or not? Would be interesting to test and find out

i dunno, man. can't tell them apart there. worse than white people.
And yet those two characters are almost opposites in terms of personality.
Chrom = hates fighting, makes a point to be good at it to minimize how many bad things happen because of it, and basically runs a Fire Emblem Salvation Army that actually fights lol

Ike = has little else BUT fighting anymore(look at how he acts; though, he didn't get to this point willingly), fights for the greater good, but, he's not so different from those he cuts down now, when you think about it. Honestly? Kinda tragic given that before all the crap he endured and had to do in PoR/RD, he wasn't dissimilar from Chrom.

Yay new signature. I think there is place for one more sentence/message, could ruin it though. Maybe also just list the characters I play... not sure...
EDIT: Ah wait I think I have an idea

I didn't know about some of this, and it's a pretty helpful guide for anyone looking to pick up PM.
