Ike.

Looks.

GUH-LOOOOOORIOUS!

Your cast was really fun; when I came into Hank of the Hill quotes I knew it was going to be my sort of stream.

Also the coolest part of the stream is that you're one of the few Smash streams who TALKS WITH THE VIEWERS! Like I can't even tell you how awesome that is (to me, at least). Can't wait to watch more.

So I have a mini Smashfest in about two or three hours. Last week I was doing super poo but during the last twenty minutes of it I was doing insanely good against my rival to the point where he was resetting the match after he lost a stock. Hopefully I can tune into that potential for the whole thing this time.
Thank you! That really means a lot to me. I'll be streaming fairly often and I love reading comments so I don't think I'll be changing up much.

Meanwhile, off-screen:

Mr. Plinkett would approve.
Any rational human being wouldn't.

Relationships seem like such a head ache; so much emotional and financial investment.
And yet the results can make it all worth it, if you went about it right.

All relationships with bonds of that sort of closeness are gonna have tiffs and arguments.
The truly important factor is how fast you and your S.O. can't take it anymore and run to make up/mutually glomp each other saying stuff like "I missed you, you dummy~", "I was so cold at night, spoon now please~" and "You blockhead, why do you gotta get pissy over stuff like ____?!/"/"I'm so sorry, kneejerk reaction, you are my first priority~"

Yeah, I'm a sap. But woe betide not taking that sort of talk from guys seriously, because if a guy is okay with wearing pink/doing associated stuff: "The pink proclaims an almost belligerent masculinity, saying as it does: I am so masculine I can afford to tempt you to question it, giving me the opportunity to proclaim it anew by doing violence to you in response."
That speaks for itself, IMO.

Just look at the difference just the expressions have on the game and each character's personality

"I had no sympathy before. Now I have no mercy. Time to die."
He actually DID talk kinda like that in JP Brawl...
Yo OOOOF.

Ike looking like a young Sol Badguy
Guilty Gear is in the far future.
Fire Emblem is in medieval-esque times.

Ike finds a way to stop aging.
Still human, and now immortal, until Gears become a thing.

My headcanon.

How do you add muscles to a circle?
How don't you?

Of course not. Just need to appeal to the bara fans too.

Also don't bother googling for "muscular jigglypuff" nothing good comes out of it
Now that I think about, you'd probably just see balls all over the screen lol

"I had no sympathy before. Now I have no mercy. Time to die."
What a bad ass

BRYON! I forgot to ask something about Ness.

Are his yo-yo smashes just useless?
no not at all. usmash is a great antiair esp. vs characters like peach and has a (kind of gimmicky) use for edgeguarding. Same with Dsmash.
I also use dsmash to catch people that try to roll behind me if i'm pressuring them near the ledge. On smaller stages it will kill people around 90-110 (iirc) that try to do that because their DI isn't always the best in that situation.

Another thing you can do that I've only ever done like once to my benefit in a real match is magnet -> jcusmash. decent defensive option and will also combo/force a tech on ff'ers at lower %

oh and a funny thing you can do with dsmash on skyloft (if you ever have to play on that awful stage) is stand on the slant on the left side of the lower side of that hut thing on the left side of the stage. When you dsmash while facing the ledge the second part of the dsmash will go through the stage and poke out of the ledge for FREEEEE edgeguards lol

My favorite jank with that part of the stage is tink's dtilt. His sword is just long enough for the sweetspot to come out below the ledge, which makes for delicious free meteors.

Ness Usmash is very usable now. There are situations similar to where you might consider Dash Attack, or a running aerial, where Dash/Running Usmash will work and it's nice.

Skyloft is poop, liek if u cri errytiem

Downtilt with Ganon is quite hilarious in that situation. Actually, kinda wanna make a video of dtilt/dsmash jank on that part of the stage.

poorly designed? i wouldn't say so...

but i do believe the overall combination of his C4 + Up-throw + tranq gun is too effective. I think a simple KBG adjustment would suffice
Getting an automatic inescapable kill at any time from anywhere on the stage after getting a hit isn't poorly designed?

Oh ok, good. I thought that you were gonna debate against what I said, but I guess we agree.
It's just that people use the term "auto combo" not actually knowing what it means instead of just saying "combo". An auto combo is a combo that preforms itself after one input such as ikes final smash(the one input being B). The only auto-combos in smash I'm pretty sure are final smashes and a few multihit moves. An inescapable combo is just a combo, most people refer to small strings with mix-ups and reads as combos in smash because it's easier and the people new to the scene and fgc terminology don't know better.

Alright, but you're just arguing terminology now which wasn't the point of my post. It's still a 100% guaranteed and inescapable followup every time no matter what. And that is a bad design. Most things are Smash are escapable to some degree, whether it requires situational spacing, timing, (S)DI, certain percentages, or even hoping for the attacker to execute incorrectly (e.g. wobbling in Melee). Snake's throw -> C4 detonate is none of those.

Ewww snake discussions. Let's not. How about that anime stuff? Pretty neat, huh? Or the weather? US politics. Maybe the fact that half of you seemed to have tried dating a friend? Anything that's not snake.
