I just got off a cruise (parents got randomly selected for a free room and decided to pay for us to come along) and I have to say I have never missed internet access so much
Couldn't even use cellular data and hotspot to my comp, it was awful
Unless I'm ever rich and can afford crazy Wi-Fi prices onboard, I'm never going on a cruise again

actually, it's best to just report them, without replying at all. during the day, the mods are really quick to get rid of anything reported. attesting to this myself, as i reported a good...6 or so yesterday and they were all removed within minutes.

Got back from last night's Smashfest. Did mostly bad but did really well an hour or so before I left, as always.

I need to step up my game but I don't know how.

What about your mindset changes before you leave?
Figure out what's changing (because clearly something is if it's consistently happening before you leave) and try to put yourself in that mindset each time you play.

I do alright with Charizard but for some reason I just cannot combo with Pikachu. The kicker is that I've played Pikachu since I was 8. >>

Idk I'm just like "Okay ya dingus time to take it up a notch." I was nervous on one of my last matches to where I couldn't move my right thumb, still won it though. I think if I record myself I would be better able to see what I'm doing wrong. My movement isn't that fluid I guess. Like if I just run around the stage I'm fine but in combat I seem sluggish.

I also autopilot pretty much the entire match. I make seemingly unconsciously reads though which turn out to be super sweet.

My heart broke when K9 got combo'd by the car.

We have a running joke in AZ because K9 will always want to go to smashvile from the neutrals, so whenever he's striking on stream anyone in AZ in the chat normally goes "Heyyy you wanna strike to smashvile?" Needless to say I was LOSING MY **** when K9's first 2 matches in the random tourney were on smashvile.

Onett used his salt to keep the ice off the streets.

we're maybe having a page 2 only side bracket at our next tourney and I want to make it a rule that K9 cant ban Onett.

This is a flaw.

Ideally, every single action you take in-game should be planned, on some level, and the opponent's relevant counter-options taken into account, and also planned for in order to subvert them.

tl;dr Brain on. ALWAYS.

Wow there even was a comment someone dislikes PM because of the balance, he liked the imbalance in Melee because it's what makes Melee Melee.
You can't fulfill everyones dreams...

Games can be fun despite being unbalanced, not because they are unbalanced.

Ideally, a game should be fun regardless of what character I use, rather than appeal to the guy who dreams of being the sub in an unhealthy top-tier-masochistic fantasy.
