I was hoping it was Ultra but that has a week or two to go I guess.

Anyone watching Street Fighter Assassin's Fist? I've watched 8 episodes so far and it's really well done. Tells the story of Ryu and Ken's training with Gouken.
I'm actually watching it right now. SOOOOO GOOD.

I wish I had the money for an Xbox 1, just for Killer Instinct. That game looks fun as ****. Fulgore must be the epitome of badassery.
My friend calls the Xbone the "Killer Instinct Machine", since that's the only exclusive he'll be willing to buy at all.

And he's absolutely right. Once the kinectless model comes out I'll be more willing to buy a Xbone but not really ATM depends on how good/bad this E3 is this year.

Crazy Idea for 3DS Gen 1/2 remakes:

-Have 4 games instead of two
-Silver Red, Silver Blue, Golden Red, Golden Blue
-Plot follows Red or Blue at first, until E4 are beaten, then plot relies heavily on Celebi time travel and you start your Gen 2 journey after Ethan
-At the end whatever team baddies are named end up having Dialga and threaten to use it to mess up time itself so they can rule, Only Lugia/Ho-oh can stop him so Celebi transported you from your time to stop them by catching the version legend and mopping the floor with them
-Story tie in to Burned Tower
-Post game there is backstory and an explanation as to how Red traveled to Mt. Silver and why, and possibly what happened after he was beaten by Ethan
-Potential Red battle after backstory
-Ability to battle Oak after some Pokedex accomplishment, team taken directly from the original data in Red/Blue
-Underground is still open, even in Gen 2 time
-True Game Corner returns
-Islands from GBA Gen 1 remakes return, ability to find some unreleased HA Pokemon
-Possibility to travel between times at will postgame and/or catching Celebi?
-Gen 3 Battle Frontier where the Gen 2 remake had it- as in, Battle Frontier expanded to have everything from Emerald (Omega/Alpha games may take care of this though)
-Gen 2 remake's Safari Zone expansion- instead of being all customizable, have two areas: "Wild" where Pokemon that appear change randomly, and "Tamed" where it's still customizable. Exclusive Pokemon to each area. Probably focusing on Gen 4/5 Pokes overall.

I blame SoulSilver's awesome Gen 2 intro music that plays on Sundays if you turn on the in game radio. That is all.

I want a GSC remake where they don't absolutely botch the Gym theme.
Sorry HGSS, but you absolutely ruined the best Gym theme of the entire series :(

Like, where did they even get this:

from this:

Yeah, HGSS botched quite a few things, most notably being the female character design.

But they also did an incredible amount of things right, including original GameBoy music options and Pokemon following you like in Yellow (personally I wish that would come back sometime, too)

3DS is the time to make things right.

Hush Sapph, no Pokemon talk

Also no mention of Pokemon MMO for Wii U? That would easily be the hottest piece of software on the market.

Tell that to my DS currently sending the loveliest Pokemon intro music of all time into my ears :awesome:

As for Poke MMO, it would be, but there would be a lot of kinks to work out. I'd be all for it if it comes to fruition, though.

HG/SS had some killer music. I appreciated the GB Radio a lot though, you can never beat the originals.

You know what a good song is that not a lot of people talk about? Black City from Pokemon Black.

Finished the series yesterday. It is without a doubt the best video game adaption done. And the fact that THIS awesome series is a low budget production is mind blowing. All the actors played their characters to a T, it was pretty fun (Episode 4 tho lolol), and the fighting looked and FELT like street fighter. I could go on for awhile so imma just end it of by saying...... who the hell is dan?

So true.

In general, 5 had some of the best Pokemon music I've ever heard and in the most amounts. Even though I never played Gen 4, I still listened to its soundtrack, so I can definitively say in terms of soundtrack that the list would go something like 2>5>1>6>4>3 for me. 2 and 5 are almost tied for first, and 1 and 6 and 4 are almost tied for third. All of them had great tracks, mostly that rating is just on how many in total they had. Gen 3 for some reason didn't have tracks that stood out to me, I can pretty much only remember loving the underwater theme.

That's also another thing on Gens in general... all of them had at least one good aspect that had them stand out from all the rest, in an amazing way.

Gen 1- original
Gen 2- best additions overall; imo the best version of Gen 1 since it includes Kanto
Gen 3- best technical additions
Gen 4- not sure since I didn't play it- though I'd go for best postgame activities
Gen 5- best plot, has the most great music
Gen 6- best breeding additions and trainer customizations

Sorry guys, I think there's something wrong with me.

Remind me to not be near a computer the next time I hear the original Gen 2 title theme.

I agreed with everything you said.... except the order of music. I'd switch 6 and 4 just because 6 didn't really have that good of a soundtrack, while 4's music was pretty good overall (Cynthia's theme is god tier) . And you seriously need to play Platinum Sapphire.

Yeah, I definitely agree Cynthia's theme is top tier. Mostly from 6 I remember absolutely loving the songs like Kalos Powerplant, Anistar City, and Dendemille Town. 1, 4, and 6 are all almost tied though so it's really just a matter of how much of an impression I got from them, which is just based on what I like in general. XD

Bleh though... I have to save money for Smash 3DS and Alpha Sapphire, I don't see how I'd get Platinum unless from a gift :urg:

I've already told you this but I'm still unsatisfied with how it ended. I do understand it's fitting for what it intended to accomplish, but I have no closure. Besides that all of what you said I agree with.
Megaman 2 tho

Well you don't have to play Platinum anytime soon, you just gotta play it one day (could be whenever you want)..... and im going for Omega ruby :chuckle:.

You have to be alittle bit more specific. what about the ending felt unsatisfying?
Because I dunno man, the ending just makes so much sense.

It's the other way around for me. I love Gen 3's music and nothing stands out to me in Gen 5.

Vs. Wild Pokemon, Vs. Trainer, Vs. Gym Leader, Vs. Magma/Aqua Leader, Vs. Rival, Vs. Champion, Abandoned Ship, Verdanturf Town, Meteor Falls, Kyo/Grou/Ray Battle, Regi Battle, Deoxys Battle, too many great themes in Gen 3 for me to list.

This is why we can never be friends Sapph.

This is why Ruby/Sapphire have an amazing soundtrack:

Seriously though horns are too good and I hope that Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire make the songs come to life even more.

Yeah it's was time constraints lol. Same thing happened with KOF13 and GGAC+R Winner's and Loser's finals but they are on a strict schedule are some games do go by quick or take forever to finish in nature.
