But like, as far as I can tell, VGBC is ending with Melee Top 8. There's no other games being played on that channel, and no other games that would need to take TV's from Smash setups. I just don't sees how they were running late when SF4 isn't supposed to start for another hour or so.

Is there already a general term for that special move property that conserves the midair jump if the move is started on the ground (like Wario's side B, Pit's side B, and Lucario's upB cancel)? I think it's common enough that it would be nice to have a quick term to describe the concept.

So I managed to control two characters with one wired GC controller simultaneously. I'm not 100% sure how I did it, so is it a bug or intended?

Training mode was involved, I can do more figuring out if this is new, though glitches are never new on the internet LOL

That's a bug from a while ago. I don't remember the exact way but yes, training mode is involved and the GC controller in the 3rd port iirc.

Don't remember if they took or out or not, but it's a pretty minor thing compared to say, your game freezing, so it wouldn't surprise me if they didn't.

I think I might be taking this a little too far...

What is your budget and are you willing to build your own?

I highly, HIGHLY suggest building your own. It's not nearly as hard as you think and I can point you in the direction of some youtube videos and helpful websites. Also if you know anyone who has ever built one before ask them to help you. It's a really fun and rewarding experience and you'll get a better computer that does exactly what you want for less money while learning a bunch of stuff about computer hardware. For your first computer it will probably take 3-4 hours to build it from scratch.

If you really don't want to build your own, I'm going to suggest at least finding one with a pretty good CPU and then just replacing the GPU and PSU which are both very easy to replace. This will be more expensive though not tooo bad.
