so, this is a term coined by the norcal crews (specifically, mattdeezie and his friends). they don't remember who came up with it, and thus, why it was named as such. i remember them specifically telling me it was in reference to luigi's nair. all the followup explanations are essentially retcons, trying to force meaning into a random name. not that they're bad, there's just no real reason they could recall for calling it that.

Not as stupid as friendlies though this term works cause the influx of casuals with the series and not to confuse or insult people. And Dittos works as well but it's still kind of silly. All in all everybody have the urge to name a stupid term after themselves in some way is kind of silly and smash community kinda goes overboard with it at times.

I no have better phone because phones and plans cost money. No one in my family is working and there's still college tuition to pay. GGs

I also don't really like smartphones.There's various reasons for this but mostly, I just want a phone that can call people and ideally text as well, both of which this one does, so I'm plenty happy with it. XD

But DI is a product of having air control. The fact that the engine is designed to allow for control in the air is what causes DI to exist. The only kind of DI that actually requires for you to be hit is SDI. It actually blows my mind that people think otherwise.

@ GP&B idk what you mean but crouch cancelling exists in brawl, the only thing it does is reduce hitlag by like 30%

I assume that all that happens is the roll dodge is being cancelled and the momentum carries over to the throw, but that's just my educated guess since I never cared about glidetossing in brawl (and soon to be P:M)

Yeah, it's a timing thing. I think if you throw too early (within the first few frames you hit the button to airdodge), you'll go a pitiful distance while timing it right should give you a fair boost.
