Brah I forgot all about AH3 lol and PSAS might as well be poverty status at this rate lol.

Also no Crash, no cash.

See. That's how you know a game is poverty.

Because even poverty fighters forgets its existence. lmfao

PSAS will never register on my poverty scale. Nope. Never. でたいむり。

Then what you consider PSAS then? Like it's weird that it barely has any tourneys outside of random cali tourneys at Super Arcade with pot bonues from the developer?

Someone at the college caf had brought smash 3DS today, so I managed to play one round

That
control
stick

How do people even

Worst than ****ing playing with a keyboard

I guess God really has designed our hands to be able to hold the GCC perfectly.

On the bright side, the game looks soooooo much better in person than on stream or video, and the game itself doesn't feel sluggish from the little I played.

The game often chugs in FFAs for me when there's items and an active stage in play.
Pretty off putting even though the chugs are subtle.

When people say Smash 4 is confused design-wise, that applies 100 times more to Playstation All-Stars.

Even with the right balancing the concept behind the game was still utterly terrible.

Stamina mode with a focus on chaining combos and building super meter would have been way better than, "Your character's moves don't do crap to your opponent, land the super!"

How do I decide whether to upload future combo videos on the channel I've always uploaded them to, or upload them to the channel that was never meant for Combo videos but gained 12x the subsribers: basically making the other channel kind of dead due to the urge of getting views?

keyboard players also get used to having to buffer tilts, that doesn't make using a keyboard not weird af

actually keyboard-style controls work well for fighting games. after all, they inspired this design:

and these are real cool. because holding left and right makes it neutral, you can do neat stuff like dash quickly by just holding right + tapping left once, thus counting as tapping right twice

Play anime bro. Marvel 3 was anime anyway, more anime games isn't gonna hurt you Kappa.

And hitboxes I would love to learn them but I need to get money for one first but would use them for charge characters or in some 3d games like Tekken. I remember I went to my first TTT2 tournament and this player from South Korea who was in Ohio or Iowa for school was showing me his hitbox and how it made EWGF super easy and then I watch vids on it for hitbox for TTT2 and performing Just frames like EWGF, Heihachi's Omen Thunder god fist and Hworang's JF Skyrocket kick and it made them super easy as I researched into them more.

I almost bought a hitbox this summer but then I had to pay for books. I spent the money i sold my stick for on gas and books and bought a 20$ pad instead.
I miss my stick ;_;

Yeah the hitbox is actually objectively a better stick than actual sticks.

I still shudder at the fullscreen instant overheads Strider can do with the hitbox that is almost impossible to do with a stick.

I'd totally buy a hitbox, looks amazing. But yea while Keyboard style controls are pretty good (besides doing grabs of course), it screws up some of my combos in usf4.

ditto with MODOK grounded dashes, which are so difficult on a stick it's situational, but then you see a dude named buttons use a hitbox and when he uses modok it's just his bread and butter because it's painless by comparison

the only reason I'm not completely 100% on hitboxes is b/c from what I recall they used a rly bugged out converter for ps3 and 360, and it kind of delays your inputs a bit which I don't like

The Hitbox is sick as hell, and I probably would've gotten it if I didn't get a good deal on the stick I have now. I've played some fighters and Smash 64 on a keyboard before, so it would've been a seamless transition.

Plus you don't have to go through that awkward learning phase of figuring out the most comfortable way of holding the joystick for you. I changed my grip dozens times till I found one that worked.

fyi: I actually checked, the adapter it uses is perfectly fine for ps3 and has pretty much no lag but on the 360 it's an incredibly silly 15ms delay, which isn't something you'd want out of a stick you're paying 200 bones for in order to do things faster

fun combos tho

Apparently no one reads the subreddit rules. I work a three hour shift and I have to come back and remove two threads. It's not difficult, but come on people. Lurk moar

I like it, its decent. Not perfect, but works well.
Yep, that's what I have too. Did you get it from Amazon, for how much? I like it, but my first one's control stick broke in the sense that it doesn't register down right much or something; so I'm on my second. It also seems to wear out my tendons a lot quicker than Smash/GCC (with light press almost never). Do you use your thumb on the pad or you grip it like a claw/stick with your index and thumb? I'd get a stick if there was a good one for cheap.

When you ready to play SF3 Third Strike over Supercade (PC)?

Also I think I may just upload the combo video to both

360 only matters for Capcom games and I believe Injustice. PS3 for all of ya'll anime needs.

and capcom games consist of like 70% of traditional FGC, so that's kind of important if you want to play against a huge amount of players

working on a 4 year plan for my CS class that preps us for work when we get out. i have a **** ton of classes, lol. only way i'd get out in 4 years is if i did like 16-18 creds a semester. **** that i'll just do like 12 a semester and get out in 5
Which is why I decided to switch out of Computer Science after one term.

Still graduated in four years, picked up a minor while I was at it. :alakadoof:

So PM ain't a main event at Apex this year?

And Brawl is?

mkay
Dude it's an official game and if Nintendo sponsors Apex or has some involvement with it then it makes alot of sense.

Had something to do with sponsors...again...i think.
Every big tourney of Apex and Evo size begins and ends with sponsors. Same thing will dictate what games that arn't SF/Marvel will be at EVO next year combined with what's new on the block.
