(Possibly) KnightMare's First LI Smashaholics Tourny!!! (Melee and Brawl)

Hey wassup i am KnightMare and i live on Long Island. I usually go to the Bronx or NJ to compete in Smash Tournaments. I decided to host a tourny but i need to know if people would show. i cant host at the holiday inn near my house cause of the cost so i will updat guys on thevenue soon.

If your interested in this Tourny just write here in this forum and tell me. I am looking for a cohost for the tourny to help with the venue. I am thinking of asking Godot and Malcom to cohost with me so we will see about that.

I am guessiing that the prices will probably be like this:

Venue Fee: $5

Melee Teams: $5 (per person in the team)
Melee Singles: $10

Brawl Teams: $5 (per person in the team)
Brawl Singles: $10

For both teams would be:
60/25/15

For both singles would be:
70/25/5

I want this Tourny to be a weekly so depending on who shows for this and how much of a response i get for this thread i will host this every Sat the day after Bum's weekly in the bronx and only the Sat when alx isnt hosting his Monthlies.

Please tell me what u think and i will write what the rules would be later.

its exit 46 on the L.I.E. and it is right there. there is a 7 11 like right next to it if you need snacks too. Also I talked to malcom and he is down to cohost the tourny now i just need to talk to Godot and C4?! since they both live in Plainview with me.

All weeklies should be on a dif day (which you did) and heed way to allow 'big' tournies before yours.
SO if a HUGE name tourney is being hosted in NY, cancel that week's thing. Sound good?

yup as i said there won't be one this week cause Alex is having NYC Monthlies this Sat. I will only have these only when ther eis nothing else happening on a saturday. I will hold these for NY smashers who want to play every week and get better. since it is also the day after bum's weekly in the bronx u can go to both or only one but you have that decision.

this makes it easier on commuters as well. I would also cancel this if i for somereason is going to a different tourny out of state that is big like esticle or critical hit. I will be talking to the Holiday Inn again tommorow to see whats up.

ok i just recently went to Holiday Inn and the want $1000 for the venue so ya f that lol. i am thinking of changing the venue to either the firehouse in hicksville, or plainview, or at godot's backyard or at gametable. Tell me what u guys think!
