I was thinking of this the other day, like "if pokemon had scientific names what would they be..." you can't put anything stupid like
Charizrd=flyus lizerdus, it has to be more creative like

Likitung=ambistoma lingua

ambistom= large/wide mouth, lingua=tung

so umm yeah...discuss

the only problem I see people having, is that they might not know ANYTHING that is latin. French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and LATIN, speakers would be the only ones with problems, but some of these should be interesting

The thing is, Latin is the foundation of all of the romance languages (Spanish, French, Romanian, etc.) so even though I may not directly be learning one of those, it actually helps me.

And whether or not I'll use it more isn't important to me. I simply love the language.
