You know, I wouldn't dislike it as much if it didn't make me think of those flat fish. I mean, i'm confused. Really confused. Is it a fish, is it not? It could be a potato for all I know. I think i'm going to sit in that courner over there hugging a Magmortar telling it how pretty it is.

And I hate Magmortar.
...It's a flounder

Also, I like how alot of pokes are like, different breeds of similar pokemon.

For example, Buffaron and the Mola-Mola. They are like Kanto's Tauros and Hoenn's Luvdisc, but suited to Unova's environment as opposed to (Japan?)

I'd have to go...

Snivy line, Treecko line, Turtwig line, Chikorita line, Bulbasaur line...

Totodile line, Squirtle line, Piplup line, Mudkip line, Oshawott line...

Charmander line, Torchic line, Cyndaquil line, Tepig line, Chimchar line.

'Squirtle and Piplup' and 'Torchic and Cyndaquil' could be swapped, they're tied for me.

In all seriousness, I went Meganium in silver. It's not BAD, it's just...almost the worst so far. In my opinion.

And swampert? Not BAD, but... almost the worst.

Torterra was pretty good, but he loses out to Sceptile and Jalorda. =P

For me, Snivy > Treeko > Bulbasaur > Chikarita > Turtwig
Mudkipz > Totodile > Squirtle > Prinplup > Otter
Charmander > Cyndaquil > Torchic > Chimchar > Pignition (Notice that one?)

For me (when it comes to starter lines):

Treecko > Turtwig > Bulbasaur > Snivy > Chikorita
Charmander > Cyndaquil > Torchic > Chimchar > Tepig
Squirtle > Totodile > Mudkip > Piplup > Oshawott

Yes, I do realize that the Fire and Water rosters are actually in order.

Wow, I'm confused. What's with the random bear cavalry and the talk about starters?

Also, the little polar bear Pokemon (the Teddiursa of B/W) was cute to me, until I saw its Sugimori artwork and realized it has a long nasty booger running down its nose. Now, it disgusts me. *le sigh*

Iris... also known as "Ash's new a**" (that's what my friends and I say anyway ).

Also, has anyone here noticed that there's actually no Rock-Type gym this time around in Gen V? :O

Zorua = Zorua and Zoroark = Zoroark in English.

Also Claw Sharpen = Hone Claws, while Trickery = Foul Play.
Even the translations in Isshu sound backwards. The English names to me seem like they'd normally be the translated Japanese names, while Japanese translated ones would be what the English translators would change them to. If that makes any sense.

Hone Claws is absolutely horrible. I guess Foul Play is manageable since Trick exists, is very similar to Trickery and functions completely differently than Trickery. I am not in high hopes for the other names though.

Edit - I understand what you mean, Ismar. I see where the reverse translation could possibly be and etc.

It makes me wonder if Genosect/Genesect will have its name changed. Let's face it: when we here "Geno/Genesect", what's the first thing we think of? "Genocide". Knowing Nintendo of America, they would probably - no, most definitely - change it to something more "family-friendly and less offensive". At least that's my thought. I could be wrong, but knowing Nintendo's track record for so many years now (well, Nintendo of America anyway), I'd say the change in Genosect's name is a high possibility.

That makes me so happy. Rock gyms are not only overdone, but also way too easy since most Rock types happen to be Rock/Ground (which is just... awful, considering Rocks have no Sp.Def to guard against most Grass/Water moves).

I actually do believe that Rock gyms are the *** of Pokemon Gyms. There's a reason they're always near the beginning: To be easy. Too easy.

I want more hard gyms. Like Whitney in G/S/C. She was fun because she was actually difficult. Then I got a Nidorino with Double Kick.
