Abomasnow, however, he is useless without snow warning.
You'd think they'd give Abomasnow something more useful, but no. Personally, I would've given it either Adaptibility or Heatproof. That's just me.

Oh yeah, another thing to note is that Fire Fang no longer goes through Wonder Guard. Yeah, it may be pointless news, but still worth a mention.

I actually don't see how Abomasnow could get Snow Warning, but hey at least he didn't end up like Delbird. The poor thing.

Yeah, I like Delibird. First time I saw one, I thought, "that's so King Dedede". I caught a shiny Delibird earlier this year in my SoulSilver. I still need to raise it though.
Snow warning is Abomasnow's default Ability, Tery.
I think Tery knows this. I believe he/she (forgive me, but I usually know not the gender of others) is saying that perhaps Snow Warning should've been put on something else. Whether or not that's what Tery's implying, I do believe in such statement nonetheless. At the very least, give something Snow Warning via Dream World, like Articuno: that would be really great.

Am I rambling? I could never tell. >__>

That's a fail on my part. I meant to say how Abomasnow could get Sounproof. I was thinking of Delibird when I was typing this out. Most trees I know aren't soundproof.

Well, Delibird gets Insomnia via Dream World, which isn't horrible. The downside is that it can't Rest... not that it had the bulk to use it, but it could've been given worse.

Fan Rotom should've either stayed Electric/Ghost or they should've given it another ability, because Flying Pokemon don't need Levitate!

Shibirudon might have no weakness due to Levitate, but this can be nullified if we use Gastro Acid, Worry Seed, Gravity, or Skill Swap, or bring a Pokemon with Mold Breaker.

Agreed... everyone else also says the same thing. Oh, Nintentroll.

Well, that's rather obvious, so I guess that's why we have more Pokémon with Mold Breaker. Even then, any Pokémon barring weaknesses can be taken down with powerful hits and/or status. Sableye and Spiritomb are prime examples of this.

Also, don't double post. It's against forum rules and could get you in trouble.

Pokemon with no weaknesses tend to not have many resistances (see: Sableye and Spiritomb) and as Soldiviner already stated they cannot repeatedly take strong hits for long.

Well, snow does a pretty good job of absorbing sound waves from the air. Or maybe it's based off of that age-old question: "If a tree falls in the forest and no one's around to hear it, does it make a sound?"

Those might be really good theories. In the latter case, I think Sudowoodo deserves Soundproof more, then.

At least Abomasnow with Hail / Icy Rock isn't a complete joke.

True, but it's better off with Snow Warning to keep a moveslot open for anything not named "Hail", right?

I don't know why you guys don't like Fan Rotom.

I hope he gets Electro Levitate in Grey so he can be even more immune to Ground.
↑ Also known as Magnet Rise. XD

But still, why? Flying-type makes him airborne, add levitate to take him skyward, and finally with Balloon, he'll end up in the stratosphere! What more do you want? Take the poor thing to the vast reaches of space?! I will admit, that'd be a hell of a stall/troll tactic. XD

It almost makes Delibird just as happy for it. The poor Christmas bird. Gamefreak killed his Christmas after all.

Hmm...Magic Guard Delibird...

Magic Guard on King Dede... err, Delibird, would make me want to use it (more). It'd be the only Ice-type and Flying-type immune to Stealth Rock. But no, it gets nothing. Stupid Nintentroll! I feel sorry for the little penguin. T-T

Actually if you've got sets you should post them in the B/W Theorymon thread in the Battle Tower subforum :3

you can do that here too if you want, but I think it'll get more attention there.

If it will give the 5th Gen metagame a bit of a headstart, then by all means, any idea's more than welcome. :D

Also, welcome to the Pokéboards, solecalibur, where everyone's dreams and fantasies come true (well, not really). XD

Terakion @ Life Orb(like it needs it)
Jolly
6Hp/252 Atk/252 Spe
-Close Combat
-Stone Edge
-Swords Dance
- X scissor

This is now my favorite physical attacking poke. I chose him over Dory on my SS team and it works great.
Of course he gets destroyed by Mach Punch(Breloom/Roobushin)....so throw a Honchkrow or a Moltres or Zapdos in.

It is the closest thing to perfect the world of pokemon will get to as a physical attacker IMO. He is my new favorite pokemon.

Sorry if it's already been stated but holy poo I love this bull...fighting...rock...thing..

I have always wanted Tauros to get an evolution. With 100 atk and 115 spe if he got a tiny bolster in atk with a good secondary typing and a tiny improvement in his movepool he'd be my fav pokemon. So I have officially made Terakion Tauros' evolution.

EDIT: JUST READ THE ABOVE TWO POSTS

*is off to theorymon*

Wow, like, moose just said Honchcrow for a defensive fighting type move tanker.

Bahahaha.

Also LO is redundant, run like Expert Belt or Leftovers, you don't need the power... Rock Polish might be better or not... IDK.

Maybe Honchkrow got a decently defensive ability in Dream World?

Edit - Ahahaha nope.

I would think Terakion could pull either Swords Dance or Rock Polish. Specifically, Rock Polish could destroy offensively-focused teams while Swords Dance could destroy stall / balanced teams.

I think Terakion is still Shandera bait and so should run Substitute+SD since it has good dual STAB.

Shandera is going to switch in on Stone Miss?

Oh right, Stone Miss could miss. Did I mention how Stone Miss could miss?
Terakion could run Earthquake too, depending on the set. But Fighting- / Rock-type STAB is good enough on their own, I suppose.

They need to make a good rock type move with 100 accuracy. I'm a more cautious player who'd rather use Flamethrower > Fire Blast just because FB might miss. That's probably why I don't like rock types much :/

I always use Flamethrower unless Fire Blast is needed for a crucial 2HKO or something.

Head Smash is a pretty good Rock-type move, even if its accuracy isn't perfect.

Keep in mind that not many has access to Head Smash. Imagine if they ever gave Aerodactyl such a move: instant Uber, in my opinion.

Imagine if head smash had 100 accuracy :O
Then it'd be truly broken. The recoil would be an afterthought, especially if STAB is calculated in. I suppose that's why Nintendo refuses to give Head Smash (and Brave Bird, for that matter) to Aerodactyl, as it would be completely unsafe - resisted or not - to switch into it. The strongest recoil move available to it is Double-Edge, but that's only via a 3rd Gen tutor. It's a shame, really, as it makes its Rock Head ability a nigh complete waste.
