It is indeed some nice Pika play, but That Lucario was definitely not on the same level.

Btw, a big Japanese tournament with 186 entrants ended with a pikachu in top 3 - named hinata

Hinata even beat the number two on the list, Rain (a major Brawl player) and his diddy kong in a set

A match from my first tournament. Though I won I know that there's many areas where I'm lacking and can improve so I'd appreciate any advice from my fellow pikas! :)

I now have a set of more recent videos that are friendlies I played with my friend. I think I've improved quite a bit since the one above. :D

I watched and was kind of unimpressed. All I saw was a lot of dash grabs and barely any aerial movement outside of full jump projectiles. Pikachu has some great aerials and they were rarely used in this vid.

My first offline pikachu videos for smash 4! been a while since i played smash, but i am starting to enjoy it now!
Going against a character a hate fighting, Lucario! watch the video closely, I die at a stupid low percentage in the second match!

I remember your Brawl Pika videos from a while back. Those, and these Smash 4 videos of yours impress me. Good job- it's always refreshing to see a Pikachu player make use of all of their options.

Even though he loses, you can tell the Pikachu player knows what he's doing. It has always been the case that against heavyweights, Pikachu's true potential shines. It's as fun to watch as it is to play. I do some of the same things but I'm a bit to intimidated to go for those quick attack cancels at the edge of the stage. That quick attack lock was also very impressive. That's certainly the way to respond to your opponent's missed tech. Very entertaining to watch.

My first fights with long-time friend Jmiller, who coincidently won the recent European international tournament:B.E.A.S.T 5 (defeated izaw,leffen and others on the way to the final).

Unfortunately, i played him after not playing for 3 weeks! He's luigi is not as flashy as boss's, but it is awsome and incredibly hard to beat! He will be at Apex 2015 (weather permitting), so I hope some of you pikachu mains play him! I have a feeling that he will go far in that tournament!

Both of your play styles are so incredibly patient, and you're both so good at utilizing your full kit effectively. I'm definitely takin a few of things from these clips and gonna implement them into my own play :)

Not bad. Ya know instead of u-tilt -> u-air -> bair you can also do u-tilt -> u-air -> FF fair. At this point, you may be able to extend the combo further because fair in this game has a slight dragging property. I've done crazy nonsense like QA -> u-tilt -> uair -> FF fair -> d-tilt -> u-smash.

Very nice KPrime. I like your spacing, usage of tilts, and aerial chasing. Mostly because it looks very similar to my playstyle. I will need to upload videos shortly against my good friend who plays Sheik.

Here is my first time using Pikachu and as the video suggests, i struggled lol. I did notice I used smash attacks too much and got punished for it. I also should have used Pikachu's quick attack on the stage to bother my opponent. Any other pikachu tips and feedback would be appreciated. Smash on B)

Look into the archive today there was a tourney, (live right now) Denti's bizarre adventure. A player named Dojo has a solid Pikachu. He's in winners final right now.

Really cool to see a good Pikachu since we lost esam :(

I did that pretty much. ( from brawl )

Ok, it was really a toss up which was my main to begin with.

2 reasons though:

A: Pikachu was in the demo, and sheik wasn't.

B: Its a lot harder to unlearn brawls sheik, then it is to unlearn brawls pikachu.

im not much of a pikachu player but for some reason i saved this replay,

i have gotten a little better since, and i do see my problems in this match (fishing too hard for grabs for one)

If anyone watches my matches and has any good advice against Luigi I'd really appreciate it. I know I was shielding like a scrub when I was at kill % so you don't gotta mention that.
