It's had that "Welcome to cartman land and you can't come" affect on me that I want to play games on PSN I would never usually play just because I can't play them..

it has ****ty graphics and less content, there's two good reasons right there.

a third would be the control scheme but you insist to continue being pushy even though everyone else says they don't even care or want to try it.

Add to that the wii's lackluster online capabilities. Thought that was a major one.

yeah pretty sure the main hindering factor would be the inability to play a game under decent conditions online...

It looks like a cheap fan-made version you would play on a web browser at school when you can't play the real thing lol.

When I really wanna play cod I wanna play the full / real version and not the wii one, it's just too different.

The content that its missing is minor imo, 3 kill streaks (2 of which are OP and you'd actually be happier if they weren't in the game) the other, no one uses pretty much. Missing dot sight customization, but its really not much of a biggie. Flamethrower, which hardly anyone uses in the other versions. Missing all the map packs (and the FIVE map) but apparently First Strike is coming soon.

I don't want to be pushy, I just want someone to try it so that you all don't think I'm just stupid or crazy. (inb4 comment from someone saying "But we already know you are") That being said, even if someone does play it and doesn't like it, I'll still sorta understand.

What exactly do you mean by that? As long as you find an Australian host, the lag is apparently not much different to the 360 version, according to Sam. They pretty much nailed the hit registration in Black Ops Wii, on the other Wii CoD games you had to shoot in front of them if they were running.

This time around they've also added an ally system, its pretty awesome. You don't need people's friend codes to add them, you just click "send ally request". You can also send text messages after they accept the request.

Yeah I'd heard that Black OP's on the wii's online wasn't actually that bad in general. So I didn't include it.

@Ric, aren't some Zombie Maps missing?

Yeah its missing "FIVE" and it doesn't have the WaW Zombie maps, but then again, even the PC version is missing them. Also missing the map packs but a lot of things suggest First Strike is coming soon.

On topic, I heard the PSN is coming up today, anyone confirm?

I just got into portal 2 co op, and man it's the best fun I've had with MP since mario kart 64.

Will be getting inFamous and R&C from the free game list.

EDIT:

Just read the article and it says access to the games stops after 30 days, like the plus content. I'd finish the games before then but still =/

I already have LBP and Infamous. Out of Wipeout HD/Fury, Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty and Dead Nation, which would people recommend?

whipout.

Sounds kinky ;)

Thanks, I've always been a fan of RnC series, though I was told Quest for Booty is very short.

I'm tempted by dead nation but only if it has some kind of replay value like most survival zombie games...

ATM I'm thinking infamous and RNC.

Took 30 hours to get my password reset email from Sony.

Infamous is a very fun game, definitely worth the get. It's re-play value is questionable though.
