Meta Knights have no choice but to play the ditto matchup. It's by far the most commonly used character, takes no skill to use, and can place high with very little effort.
I mean, really... you have no options. MK isn't really fair. You can't airdodge because Tornado will be over there. Yeah... it be over there. Nado will be over there. He doesn't have to try to hit you he can just swing at the open air.

ya blunted im down you play marth or you pick up MK yet like the other 80% of the brawl community around the world?.... i have a idea if i do come it will be IC;ers vs MK all day.... alphcians .. i hate IC dittos... a lot all IC'ers hate it.... but ill do one for 5$ .. i still dunno if i can come, i work shift and go into camp... but i will eventually see you all again, and the best IC'ers in BC will make there return ;D plus i ot a good feeling ill beat clouderz in game 5 this time ;D he got lucky last time

It takes a lot of skill to be good with any character, but MK has one of the lowest learning curves

I'm probably not coming because I can never come to these things, but I guess there is a slight chance. Don't mark me down as unconfirmed because the chance is too low, but it's still possible. I'll get back here when I've established whether it will or will not happen.

hell no. some characters did feel a lot like melee though, like falco. it was more like a hybrid of melee and brawl, which is what I expected it to be.
meta knight sucks in project M. I couldn't use him for sh*t

yeah, hitsugaya has the privilege of being in the closed alpha. if you come to the next melee event he'll probably bring it again, and we can have a small tournament for it.

As a brawl hater, did you enjoy it?
EDIT: Ok, I just realized how ******** this date is. Why was thanksgiving weekend chosen for this? People travelling from alberta are probably gonna miss thanksgiving. Flights are wayyy expensive, and my mom told me that going standby just won't happen for me since it'll be so busy. People driving are gonna get ***** by traffic, there and back, leaving early won't save that fact, it'll be hell on the highway from friday morning till monday night.
Now I know it was said in this thread that the date is going to be set in stone, but I really think Oct.2nd would be a way better date. I forsee some people bailing out from the AB crew since it's thanksgiving. Flights will be cheaper for whoever wants to go (T-block), and I'll be able to go 100% if it's on Oct.2nd, and will not be able to go at all if it stays with this date.
It may sound like bias since I can't come on this date, and it is, I'd really like to come, but I also think for the benefit for everyone that the weekend of oct.2nd is chosen, so people don't have to choose between thanksgiving with their family and smashbros. When it comes down to it, I think family is going to trump smash, and I can see a couple people bailing. You misread skidd. Oct.9th is thanksgiving weekend, I am suggesting the weekend before thanksgiving.
