I normally don't choose a main until I've actually played the game.

However, because f**** [o-get] KayLo! and the rest of the haters who don't like winning at Smash, I'll say one character I will do everything in my power to make a main/backup, despite the fact he is obviously different from previous installments [which means people won't insult me for playing him now]:

My Grandfather smoked his whole life. I was about 10 years old when my mother said to him, 'If you ever want to see your grandchildren graduate, you have to stop immediately.'. Tears welled up in his eyes when he realized what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he died of lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me. My mother said to me- 'Don't ever smoke. Please don't put your family through what your Grandfather put us through." I agreed. At 28, I have never touched a cigarette. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because your post gave me cancer anyway.

I dunno what Espy did, but I wasn't saying much that was negative until there was racism/sexism/people blatantly saying hateful, hurtful, useless things in the PGD because I did ok in a tournament but played MK for exactly two games during the tournament. And apparently most of it is trolling but it sure didn't read like it when I first read replies.

If that's what Espy did too, fine, I'll leave. If not, that may be why.

The MK main thing was partially a joke but partially serious - I not gonna pick a main before I actually try out characters, but I DID always think MK is cool, and had the game come out in 2008 with me in the scene beforehand (i.e., having started competitive Smash right then and there), I may very well have become an MK main out the gate because I thought he was cool but didn't have the stigma attached to him (i.e. Snake was still considered something of an answer, as was Falco, if I'm not mistaken [and so was Fox]).

The fact that I started later [when he was banned was when I first actually understood picking a main, etc.] meant I picked Falco and later Pikachu for silly reasons, but Pikachu's fun : ) so it stuck] but never really played him much, and I think Smash 4 is a chance for a reset.

But if you want me to leave, as I said above, I'll leave, okay?

And sorry Slush. I don't want to kick others out of the PGD because they can't put up with me, and you've noted that it's what I'm doing. If I can still hang around, I'll try to lighten up/fix my attitude.

Also as for mains I'm definitely gonna take a hard look at Shulk and the Marth-style characters again [as well as Pikachu, Link, Samus, Falco, and several others] - I always wanted to play sword-type characters but could never Marth all that consistently/well, but Shulk's Monado-arts look amazing and I think he looks incredibly fun to play as if you can play him well.

Also nice avatar Sazzy Latias.

I need to get KayLo to teach me how to insult people. I was running early tonight/yesterday and someone insulted me. I proceeded to run by him (I was already running) and stared at him while thinking I could totally beat him in a sprint even though I had just been running 15 minutes with a distance of about a mile and a half.

People trying to get reactions out of people, Denied. It was at night though so I couldn't tell who it was although they knew who I was. College football, people like it for some reason. Only in America.

Edit - College football is relevant because that's why everyone was outside and there were people gathered and stuff. Also I scared a random group of girls while I ran past them. Eheheh.

So yesterday there was a casual Brawl doubles tournament at a social gaming club. It was best of 1 (which I already didn't like) and we were up in a 2v1. My teammate was Kirby. I told him, "Hey, grab to hammer." I grabbed him. He walked up behind me and used hammer. Then lost to the other guy after killing me.

I was (needless to say) rather upset.
