On another, more cheerful note, I'm considering picking up Peach for Olimar games. They're just nasty.

Pikachu has far more options against ICs.

Although, we do have to play incredibly campy. IMO.

Olimar is not as bad as ICs. Compared to most of the cast I think pikachu actually has one of the better MUs if you analyze and acquire experience with it, granted olimar wrecks most of the cast so thats not saying much.

The one addendum Id add is that yellows CAN be a problem because they tend to aggregate since theyre not killed by your electric attacks. If that happens use upsmash to kill them.

My problems with Olimar when I actually tried the match up as Pikachu was my opponent was getting extremely lucky with Yellow Pikmin. I face the least of about 3 yellow with the rest being purple and maybe 1 random from blue or red. I couldn't bare that frustration. I had a couple of rounds a while ago where he had 5 yellow Pikmin and a purple. That was the worst.
