im not doing world of light till a unlocked everybody so i can unlock everyone twice so i will find out eventually

i might also check which path the piranha plant is on for the classic mode unlock tree (probably marios)

Apparently at least one of Pirahna Plant's moves counts as a Fist Attack, as Fist Attack Support Spirits are showing up in autopick while I'm screwing around with Pirahna Plant on the Spirit Board. Um... lolwut?

PP seems super interesting. Side B looks great for limiting ledge options for recovering opponents, and neutral B has a lot of edgeguarding potential with it making you fall really slowly

Welp. I'm glad we got piranha plant. Not quite as fun as I had in mind, but i'll give it more time to get used to.

I will admit, I was a bit peeved Piranha Plant got in at first.

But after playing the character...holy hell. This is an insanely fun and quirky character. I love everything about him. The victory animations, his moveset REALLY gells with me...I am considering maining.

Even if I don't end up maining, 10/10 Sakurai...10/10.

This. Good Lord some of you people are quick to judge. Give it some time.

I'm thinking this character seems good on an initial inspection. You can control a lot of space very easily, you pour on damage, you have a kill throw, you survive forever, and I'm not sure there's any other character in the game with as much obvious ledge trap capability. The mobility is... not good, and the grab range continues to disappoint me in every game, but I see a lot more to like than to dislike in this design. I've also been actually competitive in Plant vs non-plant on quickplay (going back and forth at least) and have pretty much ravaged the dittos I've run into; I have to imagine the plants I'm beating badly in the dittos are getting totally blown out by non-dittos and might be very disappointed...

Of course, it's worth exploring a lot more. My first impression is that it's an alright character. Nothing overly good or spammable tho.

PP might be bad, can't really tell yet, he is so werid to play as, but if it makes you feel better he also thought MK was busted/powerful and now has MK in his sig as 'why is he so bad'.

Edit: nope. They only do one of their 3 victory animations.
