Sailor Princess, what happened? Least you could do is post rather than have me wait for the majority of the day. :ohwell:
Regardless, still on.

I'm honestly surprised you don't respect me in matches. I don't know if that's due to lag or that's how players are now. :ohwell: It's not just you though, but people in general I've noticed.

GGs. I feel washed up though D:

hm? i don't recall ever meaning to be disrespectful

i respect the hell out of you, but if you think my gameplay implies otherwise, it kinda hurts

I play hella respectful but I can never block orgia on netplay D:
Pick Narukami and j.B lol. But yeah, to clarify on disrespectful, I mean pushing buttons on safe jump setups. Mashing DP I'm fine with since that's what they're there for, to give people a breather or make you respect them.
Also throwing in ggs on Extend, Minato. I don't know why I hate your Ragna sometimes, but I do, lol.
lol It's not that great. It's just... fraudulent? But bad though lol. I've been sort of losing interest in P4U in recent months which is why I just started learning characters to keep it fresh. I've been playing just Capcom fighters but I might try to sneak BB in too. Playing it today made me realize how much I miss it. I don't miss the buffer window though. I get 6B/6C whenever I want 5B/5C lol

Edit: @Sion Just to make sure, I don't mean disrespectful as a person lol. I mean mashing moves where they won't work like in safe jump setups specifically.

Haha, Rags has always been that way for me in general. Either way though, it was good for me to actually get a chance to try using Mu against a human opponent despite having no freaking idea what the hell I was doing.

Also, dumb question but, I heard P4A was at FR16 but didn't see it on either of the 2 streams. Was it just not streamed?

Sorry like, yesterday really sucked, I had to stay late at work because of a huge rush of costumers, then I lost my phone on the bus ride home, forgot my key so i was locked out for 2 hours, and when that all finally ended@6pm I just said F-everything and went to sleep.

I should still be on around that time. I might be playing something else, but I'll switch to Persona when I see people.

I'll make a lobby in 45 minutes to an hour. Just log on since I won't bother posting here when I do.

Wow, I actually won a match in Persona, that's not supposed to happen.

GGs everyone.

Playing Guilty Gear and SkullGirls lately has made me realize just how brutal blocking can be in this game. You can get stuck for days here, makes you appreciate Faultless Defence.

I agree with that. Only part I'm iffy on is Mitsuru's placement. I think she's just as good as Chie and Yu. Also maybe move Teddie to where Aigis is. Liz definitely has new tech to bump her out of bottom.

I can post his explanations as well. Here you go:

chie - not much to say, converts easily and well, high damage, good/safe pressure, good reversal options, good awakening super... good char
yu - simply put, he's dangerous. conversion ability is close to chie (better with omb), and his mixup is better
if your neutral is perfect, mitsuru is the best. converts to the highest dmg consistently, but cant convert into setplay all the time
aigis is one of the best at stealing games. great pressure/mixup, but suffers in neutral vs some chars, but when she gets started shes great
kuma changes the game depending on the next item, which is good and bad. he ignores most setplay. his midscreen dmg is low, corner is good
slab - good neutral, good at converting hits into knockdown/setplay, but the damage isn't always there. awakening super is really dumb.
yosuke - tied for best neutral. his damage is ok. his momentum is more "i have a life lead lol", because he's hard to hit
akihiko - huge dmg, great pressure. neutral is all right, his jump/sj is low/heavy which hurts against zoners, but he can win once he's in
yukiko - high potential, but no AA really hurts her. low average dmg also hurts. pressure/mixup is great, runs back games in awakening well
liz - big damage, no life. her neutral is good, but bad dp/CA/random recovery on things hurts with low life. she can steal games well
kanji has movement, but when he moves fast he can't cover ground. he can steal games too. neutral has to be on point to win consistently
naoto - still has potential imo, but the character is a little limited, low life doesnt help. dmg output is obviously good.
labrys - works if you can get/keep momentum or else she dies. good neutral, conversion is ok. defense (dp/ca) is bad. awakening super is meh

He also says that no one is really, really bad and everyone can make stuff happen if you work hard enough, though Chie will rob you.

For reference, I believe current Japan tier list is:
S+ - Mitsuru, Chie
S - Teddie, Aigis, Narukami
A - Yosuke, S. Labrys
B - Naoto, Akihiko, Yukiko, Elizabeth
C - Labrys, Kanji

That list is pretty acceptable too. I want Narukami and Kanji to be a bit higher, and Naoto to be bottom, but more or less, I agree with it.

Honestly after watching Bond play more Naoto I really don't think she's that bad. For the most part you just need to be really effective at building meter or Gold Bursting because she eats meter for everything useful.

I just really don't like Naoto's options. Her keepaway is ok, and her rushdown isn't that scary unless she has meter at a good position of the screen. Her defense options are bad and overall she's too gimmicky. Bond has a good Naoto but people also don't know the matchup well and get hit by things they shouldn't. Naoto doesn't have a ton of ways to open people up.

Also surprised that list has Akihiko so low. He mostly struggles on matches that most everyone else already does.

I admit that I'm not sure on Shabrys being A+ (or is that S-), and I'd probably put Teddie above Aigis, with the possibility of switching Narukami and Chie, but even those are close enough to what I'd think that I can see the point he's trying to make and understand where he's coming from.

No, Chie is the best. I feel like that's pretty much been established at this point. She has everything you want in a character, and her defined flaw of losing to zoners doesn't matter because zoning is so weak in this game. I could agree with putting Teddie above Aigis. He's very solid, and I think he has good match-ups against everyone. Slab, I'm not sure about, I think people sleep on her a lot.

Chie is dumb and I wish I knew how to use her because she's so good.
