I remember in the Uncharted 3 and ME3 time that I played those constantly, people would typically complain about players from Mexico having "worse connections than Japan". I don't know if that's actually true or not, but enough people said it to make me think.

I don't really like netplay period since I play differently. I also dislike it since a lot of people form bad habits of it and try to get out of situations by things that work online.

But it can still be fun if I get to play with people I know though.

I only play ranked when I can't find a room for player matches, or when I only feel like playing one or two matches.

Netplay is alright in small doses and with people I know, but even then I have very little patience for it. I'd rather just play offline. :V

I have to agree that I enjoy playing offline when I can actually find people moreso than offline. Of course, that usually amounts to $20 in gas, and I'll have to call poverty johns to stop me from going out a couple times a week (or even every week) so I do online because well, it's often better than nothing. So hey, it could always be worse.

It's so true. My PSN status thing literally tells people if I'm not playing a game for 10 minutes straight that it means I'm most likely not at my PS3 at the time.
