Hmm....I still own my copy of Persona 4 Arena.

It's been awhile since I touched it and had mostly been focusing on mostly SkullGirls. I'm wondering if there is anyway for me to gain interest into Persona 4 Again lol (Mostly stopped because I was starting to lose interest and I was more hyped for Blazblue Chrono Phantasmas announcement)

I was a Shadow Labyrs player and I was thinking of picking up Yu.

Well if you ever want to play p4 with us you know where we are lol.

Freaking, I will learn to block during my mixups I swear one day I will.
Thanks! Yeah I feel that I should expand to more fighting games lol

I did like Persona 4 Arena when it came out, so I may give it another try.

Note to self. NEVER. EVER attempt to do Chie's Instant Kill to counter Aigis' charge Super when you don't normally do Instant Kills and only hit down twice.

I picked up Shad Lab...mostly because she was so awesome looking XD

In all honesty, Shad Lab is a type of character I had never picked up before and it was a brand new experience for me.

No, go with what you had before, that's my reasoning for using her.

:3
Hahah, well it is probably THE main reason I use her.

I will admit, she is kind of hard to get used to, and since I haven't played the game in awhile, I'm going to have to learn that frustration again XD

GGs everyone.

We played longer than I expected.

Guess I only want to play Aigis right now, not sure if I'm getting better. :/

Characters I usually play in fighters are pretty straight forward XD

With the exception of characters like Juri in SSF4 lol

You had... some really interesting AoAs haha.

Your combos are getting scarier I think you just have to work on her neutral game, its the hardest part about her too =/.

I think you're doing better personally, she's just difficult to play imo.

Im not sure if you know, but you might want to try a non-orgia throw combo to put yourself into orgia.

Throw > OMC > 22B > [6] > jC > 236 CD > 214A > sj jC 236 D

I think its a good way to put yourself into orgia if you have excess meter. I always find myself personally to hold my meter a lot for megidos then just never land anything so iunno.

Thanks.

I think I may be using AoAs a bit too much, but a lot of them seem to be working, netplay might be helping out with that.

I actually haven't been learning any new combos with Aigis, I've wanted to try and get her neutral game and hit confirming down, but I am dropping my Orgia brb combo less often. I'll try out that throw combo, I think I also noticed both you and Lythium using 5AA as a way to go into Orgia mode, I want to try and add that in.

I'll try to not stop playing P4U once I get Fire Emblem.

Your Shabrys makes things tough, I'm never sure when I'm safe to move, and with the little bit of lag we have I'm letting myself get hit all the time.

GGs guys, fun lobby. Trying to branch out a bit more since I don't think anyone wants to face my Narukami.
I still need to learn Yukiko, Akihiko, and Teddie as well.
At least he wants to play you guys! :c

Smooth Criminal
:p

Also, Livewire, I just realized what grab you were talking about yesterday with Liz. My mistake, her DP grab does have invincibility. I thought you were talking about her 5D which is her Persona grab. Just 214A it on reaction or backdash 5C it and she'll bleed.

Well, GGs everyone. That was a fast 2.5+ hours. Apologies for uh...stuff. That being said though, aside from the sickening amount of "what? I meant this instead!" AoAs which I fully expect and deserve to be criticized for, I feel it went well despite becoming frustrated at points (partly since I feel that Minato being Minato would be a problem to play against regardless of what character he decided to use). I managed to get off a couple of combos in matches that I had been trying to work into matches for a while now (such as that mid-screen Power Charge one), which was good.

That being said, with that match where in trying to do the IK on, I believe it was Rutger's Aigis, and it wound up costing me the match I knew immediately after it happened that I lost because I was trying to be fancy and greedy when if I had just done the safe thing and blocked that I probably would've had a half decent chance of being able to take the round. So yeah, that was dumb as hell, and that brief moment of "wouldn't it be awesome?" was just as bad as letting off my guard at points to try and jab. Or doing 66>nothing to try and bait out a DP only to eat a Black Spot.

Edit: Alright, thanks Minato. Sorry for the confusion, and while I hadn't even thought of doing A Raging Lion, thinking on it, it sounds like something that makes total sense.

Yea Rutger, you can do 5AA then do 22B jC 236 CD > yadda yadda

Its hard to hit online, but I haven't labbed with Aigis enough so that could just be me.

You might have to ask Minato for more advice to fight Shabrys, since he's so good vs them >:[

You seemed pretty passive in the later games, Shabrys gets worse if you force her to defend a lot.

I'd recommend doing less Rampage btw, Livewire. I feel like you're treating Chie too much like your Noel because of it.
Also, learn your okis. You play two characters that have the best oki in the game and it'll really benefit you.

Holy crap, I always kinda thought there was something up with how I use my Chie aside from the typical "lack of experience/need to learn stuff" bit. I can, looking back on it see instances of me treating some of Chie's moves similarly to some of Noel's moves. That, and the sheer fact that I even thought to (and actually have in a couple of ranked matches) use her IK as a quasi-counter to some things the same way I've used Noel's Astral is kinda scary. Yeah, I feel both are kind of rush down characters, but beyond that I think it's probably safe to say they're a good bit different.

I feel like I'm giving up on Aigis already, lol. I'm so finicky with my characters.

Also, I'll take any critiques anyone wants to throw my way.

I don't see how you guys like Labrys/Shabrys, lol.

I'm meh about her design. I like the ponytail, but everything else is, ehhhh.

I guess this is why I play Yukiko.
Because she's so goddamn kawaii, obv. Top notch robot waifu material.

Also, Ariadne has the coolest Persona design, just saying~

I unfortunately didn't get to play much of your Aigis from earlier, but my thought is maybe some of your difficulties might come with not being too familiar with her uh...whatever the flight mode thing's called. I don't really have much in the way of knowledge on Aigis from a playing as standpoint, so I can only try and notice little things and compare stuff to the sort of "feel of familiarity" I get with your Labrys. But that's kind of to be expected when learning a new character. That being said though, we seem to have 3 Aigis players now, so I think having 2 others using the character too will help you with it.

He did block a bit! I saw it.

So, I just realized that the red axe corner combos listed on Dustloop don't actually work. :V

Time to go watch some videos~

Hmm...have you tried them against the entire cast? I'm just curious if some might be character specific because I know for example with Chie, some things of hers don't work on Teddie.

No, I figured it out.

It's because her axe meter actually goes down during the combo, which makes the middle part almost impossible. But in training mode when you just have it set to be at red axe, you don't notice it because it doesn't deplete.
