I use Game and Watch in his bad matchups, because everybody else is lame.

The G&W boards are a bit dead to be honest. :\ We need to talk more around here! We must not let the g&w boards be like so many other boards out there that are practically dead.

And I use DK for those matchups. They're mostly 50 50, but I like the matchups and I like playing DK so it's all good. xD

And doh! It's okay! I'm bad against DK for some odd reason, but I'll try my best! And DK dittos, huh? Haha! :O I bet that's interesting!! I hope you have fun!

Actually that was a typo. I meant to type diddy. Vs DK I would use G&W. I just use DK vs Diddy, Marth, Snake, Meta and vs g&w too. Everyone else I just go g&w

I use Game and Watch for just about everything except Marth. And even then I'm debating or not if I should try use G&W with Marth! I enjoy using Snake against Marth, but those are the only two characters I play as~!

Who is going to Pound 4~? You guys must try out my Game and Watch cake! D: We most definitely need to be more social! Haha!

that's why all the players that mained G&W last year either switched to wario,MK,IC's and kept G&W as a side

or they just completely dropped him.

and personally,i find the Marth and snake more doable than MK and Diddy.

I'm just going to tell you a few stories from my pools this weekend:


Story #1
I have to plan a ditto against another G&W. Never met him before. On game 2, he tries to judgment me. I space it a fsmash him back. Then as he's recovery back to the stage, I say out loud "Hey, you just got a judgment. That means mine's going to be a judgment too." Then, as he airdodges back on the stage, I throw out a sideB and it's a judgment. Video will be up later.


Story #2
I have to play a DK. I zero to death him first stock. He comes down second stock and starts charging a donkey punch. I try to jump at him with a sideB, but he punches me back. I then jump at him again and pivot a judgment, it hits. He's at 33% and gets sent to the blast zone. As he tries to recover, I throw out another judgment, killing him with only two attacks. (Sorry sundown ><). Video will be up later.


Story #3
I have to play this really good ganon player. Before the match starts, I ask Fino "Pick a stock, and pick a percent." and he says "2nd stock, 40%". The first game starts. I get the lead and kill ganon. He comes back down and gets comboed to 40% fairly quickly (ok it was 41% w/e). Then he DownBs into the ground. I abuse the lag and throw out a, you guessed it, judgment. Somehow it doesn't hit, it glancing blows. Ganon's hurtbox shrinks on DownB lag. W/e I still called it, super hard. It's like a magic trick. Video will be up later.


Story #4
I sit down with Amazing Ampharos and his teammate cause I want teams practice. My teammate, however, is busy, so I ask for a 2v1. I need practice. As we start playing, AA's teammate says "If you beat us, I'll give you a brownie." At that point, I run up and grab the MK, dthrow, and judgment (he was at 0%). Then a few seconds later, I read AA's roll and judgment him at 0% near the edge of smashville, he dies. It's now a 1v1 and I end up winning. Best tasting brownie ever! No Video =(

well basically the marth match up is about doing nothing at all
your approaches have to be pretty solid or they can just up and B out of it
so careful with your bairs but it's still useful in here tho

like seriously,sometimes its best not to approach at all and wait it out until you find an opening in their pattern.
like the snake MU,it requires you to be patient with your approaches or you can easily get caught in Marth's air game and get your % racked up=/.


if you ever find yourself caught in it, just up and B out of there
at least that's what i do
don't try to air dodge out of it, you aren't going to win lol

his side B can also wreck your ground approaches at times
also careful for some of those lame combos they do
like side B into pierce or grab
just be ready for it and you can easily counter it

Try your best to get them above you and keep them there.
That's where you'll want to rack up 90% of your damage.

Marth is very vulnerable offstage,so try to get your kills there too
It's alright to be aggressive once their offstage but careful for their recovery,it can stage spike you easily lol

personally,like snake,i find their air dodges easy to read so take advantage of that too


as for stages

Marth can also abuse ledges so avoid stages like BF

and as always,stay away from stages like FD lol

In the game he comes from.

I happen to know a lot about Fire Emblem by the way, and when you think about it, Marth is pretty much a pansy in his game. One of the weakest lords statistically and personality-wise if you ask me.

You have to wonder why anyone would actually like Marth. Besides the fact that he was the first lord ever for the Fire Emblem franchise (which is an awesome franchise btw, just Marth sucks).

And anyhow, I like low tiers a lot. I think for the most part the lowest tiers are more balanced than the highest ones, and advantages gained on counterpicks are more subtle generally.

Once in a friendly, I went to 9 a Snake cypher, he recovered high and I predicted it. I was at about 52%. I go to 9 but it was a 1. I took damage and got uair'd out of the boundary. LOL

but it seems less obstacles to get in the way. I always try to start there against every1 cept for like
