Hey can anyone tell me the settings for invincible dK??

i think its just 0.5 damage ratio, everybody except DK has max handicap (9 i think) on hyrule temple with 1 stock...i think but SAUS knows them best...

What Cbone said, but in addition, Team Attack should be off, the team of 3 has handicap 1, and DK has handicap 9. Grabbing = banned. Some other moves were banned too but I forget which.

actually while playing the game I discovered that the handicapped 8 is bugged if you have a recent version of the game (which means link can super jump) and thus it is even harder to ko than at 9. gotta be in team though I think.

Every time I was playing at 8 it would feel I was like metal mario, but without gravity issues and real colors. Without even putting it to 0.5

you can check on the disk what version it is, i have the oldest and SAUS has the newest but i dont know any 1 who has 1.1...

I know the videos themselves are fine, and even after uploading a second time, they all still failed. All of them were encoded with the same settings, so I don't think it's a codec problem.

I don't think we know 100% for sure who's going. Most likely it will be myself, Phrozn, Cbone, SAUS, and maybe Arsenic if he can use asian mindgames to get permission from his parents. Don't count on KPP or Ganonnewbs to show up.

Intrigued, I added him on msn to get the low-down on this tournament. Turns out his guy is having a small tournament at what I'm assuming is his house.

He's charging 10 dollars in advance and another 10 at the door to play, and the winner gets a Wii. The rules are a little different from what we're used to, but they're not exactly terrible.

Vlad Mitch and I will most likely be attending, and even if there are no cash prizes its a somewhat tournament experience for some of you newer guys to steel your nerves. Anyways if you want to come email this guy or add him to msn, and maybe you guys can get a car load down the day of.

Hmm interesting find. I may go if I have nothing else to do that weekend. Qualifier rounds + quarter-finals being on Hyrule Temple = not a good sign though. If you've talked to him on msn already, does he actually seem serious/sincere about this?

wtf @ all the excitement for a tourney with Hyrule Temple unbanned! Originally I was only gonna go if there was nothing better to do that day, but if like half the community is going I guess I'd better show.

As for ToS4 there isn't really a great time anytime soon. Here's the math:

November = another Toronto tourney
December = At Melee's End
January = SFF3
February = Brawl, so no one will care about ssbm anymore.

2 big tourneys in a month = fail
Church fees go up + hidden insurance = more fail

Also, last time I asked around about ToS4 there wasn't much interest so I didn't bother looking into dates seriously. I know most of the Ottawa people would go, but there were only like 5 or so Montreal people who replied, and all of the GTA minus Lano wouldn't come because they're lazy.

Cbone was looking into renting a school gym for sometime, but I don't know how that's going. I'd need serious interest from at least 30 people before I consider doing another ToS at that same church again, otherwise the money situation kinda sucks for the winners.

Since my tournament had nice feed back, I am planning to organize an other one. I would like to know if Ottawa would be interested to come to a tournament in the first weeks on january. So far I think the best date would be the 12th since everyone would not have a lot of homework at the begening of the school and wouldnt be in vacancy. It would be really great if we could make a last East cost canada tournament with all the best from Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa before brawl comes out. It's been a long time since we were all together for a Smash tournament .
