Actually Ben, it was a free stream I found, and I still felt the ppv was bad, so I gladly watched the tourney. But man, that was crazy. Has that ever happened before?

CoT4 stuff sounds nuts!
A little history lesson for the new guys: at the very first Trans-Canada (Melee) tourney, the power got shut off and we all got kicked out by (rent-a-)cops. They didn't like the fact that money had changed hands. Had we not left asap, we would have been charged for 'trespassing'. All 60 of us gathered at a nearby mall, TVs and Gamecubes in tow, and mall security was shadowing us the entire time. No fights or gunshot noises though, just people trying to figure out what to do next.
Slightly less epic, but I just figured I'd let you know that something similar has happened to us

That's totally Patrick. He always uses default Olimar. Justin uses Negrolimar. And those are the only two Olimars in Ottawa.

On another note, I have some vid's saved on my wii of my Ike (Mastered lol). I can send it to anyone so you may have a chance against me in battle lool. They are against lvl 9 computers though, but I try to make it as difficult as possible for example make my handicap start at 100%!! on each life and I managed to 4 stock (out of 5 lives) a lvl 9 computer in under 3 minutes. discuss

man, RGI is so good, everytime he presses the A button his sword, he impregnates a vigrin. That is how good he is.
Also, I highly suggest trying to make it out to the friday get togethers, the best way to see how you compare is within the fires of battle.
But if I remember, you have friday basketball?

No, not Ike. Ike's actually quite fierce
RandomIkeGuy was an Ike main who showed up at CoT4 (huuuuge tourney this past weekend that had lots of crazy shinannigans lol). He was getting 3-stocked by basically everyone in his pool, but that pool is the one that was being livestreamed, so there were tons of us watching all his matches. The commentators didn't know his nick so they kept referring to him as "random ike guy", and it has been decided that he's epic.
He's actually a pretty chill guy who wants to learn how to get better and stuff, so liek, good for him.
Edit: and until you show up to some events, you're totally our random ike guy ^_^

As you may or may not know, we won't be having a bi-weekly on the scheduled 27th due to cam being pretty busy with stuffs. But personally, I will like to have a bi-weekly prior to OBscene for some practice.
so here are some options which I have come up with:
a) hold the bi-weekly at someone elses house.
b) cancel it
c) have it some other time during the week
d) have it on one of the non bi-weekly weeks, thus having 2 bi-weeklies in a row
I prefer to not have 2 in a row, I guess I can have it at my place, but it is going to be crowded with little to no TV's.
so if anyone can come up with an epic strat, or step it up for the bi-weekly...show me your moves
