i'm still trying to find somebody near me to play, jesse hasn't been responding to me and the so called 'smashfest' on sat/sun was assumed to have never happened. i still haven't played anyone since last TANG, need some competition T-T

we needa have a TANG this month. jesse told me next TANG would probably be the last weekend of febuary, which is far too long for me! no TANG in december because of christmas, and now no TANG in january? crazy talk i say!

Well, Jesse was saying that we could do an inpromptu TANG this weekend for the people in the Portland area. And then we could do another one the first weekend in February so that there'd be a lot of tournaments all at once. I have to talk to Jesse again before making the thread to see if it is ok, but yeah, expect a TANG this weekend for anyone who can make it.

i like what timmy said for the power rankings we could just use the results from the SF:E tournament but then again i usually either choke or get matched up were i am completely out skilled as i am a very unconsistant player

i would like to play smash with someone today but there is no way that i can get a ride anywhere with the snow that i have up here cause my parents hate driving in the snow so i guess ill have to wait for this weekend

A much as I'd like to, even if I had a car of my own (which I don't) it's probably not a good idea to drive a long distance without chains especially after hearing on the news about how the cops are fining anyone who drives on the high/free/expressways without chains.

Snow is awesome. Pancakes are also awesome. But pancakes after playing in the snow is very awesome. Snow, however, makes traveling for Smash more difficult. :\

I think snow days are like every other year for me, but this is like the best snow I've seen in this area in terms of snowball-ness and making stuff-ability.

It took me a while, but I added Rebel to the non-competitive list. I know, I don't come here very often :^p
Snow days are good, but it'd be nice if my school would tell me if there were cancelations when I called them... not like I went anyway.
Are there going to be any plans in case of snow-related delays of SF:E? Like, would anyone be opposed if we held off until the first week of february if a ton of snow hits? Or is everyone willing to risk life & limb to Smash?

Tommy, I was planning to hold TANG 22.0 on the first weekend of February, so if you were going to delay yours, the second weekend of February or the third might work out better (since if TANG isn't the first weekend, it would have to be moved to the last).

Dude, James, don't you dare have TANG the first weekend of Feb. That would piss me off, because there's almost no way I could make it. Do at least second or third (preferably third, considering I have the farthest to drive of anybody, and two weekends in a row is not something I like to do).

Hey!?! Considering I'd never driven James's car before, it was pitch black outside, poring down rain, and for some reason I couldn't get the windshield wipers to work fast enough to give me visibility beyond five feet I don't think I did a bad job.
Besides we were never in any real danger.

I suck so bad at Falco dittos, me and Duke Falco ditto'd once and he 3 stocked me
But then after that, I beat his Falco with all of my secondaries and tertiaries. It's weird. I think my best ditto character is Marth.
