Tiger is most definitely a badass, but I wanna see more Vander Decken. He's such a funny character, but he hasn't done much yet. I wanna see how he fights when he gets serious.

Which episode did you watch? There are a few episodes which aren't particularly a good representaion of the rest of the show, or need background. But there is an acceptable level of pony in here.

And these chapters need to get back to Robin already. I'm still mad at Oda for dropping her bangs.

I was originally mad at Oda for changing Franky's hair too, but the fact that he can bring it back whenever he wants makes it alright. I can't wait to see what kind of super stuff he can do now, Franky da bess.

OMG... I haven't posted in here in forever...

That's not right, the new chapter was AWESOME. This is a flashback I've been waiting for for a while now!

The chapter was, well, beautiful. Although it's been several days since I read it now. I just remember really liking Fisher Tiger's wisdom in his speech, telling both Arlong and Jimbe that violence will not truthfully progress their relations with humans, as it would just turn into an endless cycle.

And Koala, I know a lot of people found her creepy and/or annoying. I didn't. The fishmen looked really intimidating there, and Arlong was incredibly harsh, and violent. No surprises, there. She was also a slave for so long. I don't see how people found her annoying, or creepy. I like how she was always smiling.

It's just I'm assuming this is going to get sad from here...

And these chapters need to get back to Robin already. I'm still mad at Oda for dropping her bangs.

So you want to skip over this very important flashback just to get back to Robin? I don't get it.

Although, Robin finding the ponyglyph will certainly add to the story as well, this flashback right here is essential as well!

Robin already had her big moment when she cried like a baby for whatever reason at Enies Lobby. She's just going to be a minor background character from now on, always drinking tea and reading books but never fighting or talking.

Now Franky, on the other hand, will only to continue to gain more screentime as the show goes on. Soon we'll see what other silly things he's done to himself, like those headlights he installed, and good times will be had by all. Except Robin, she'll be reading books like a nerd off screen.

Buggy has always been my favorite villain. My inner manga fan can die happy the day he actually fights someone powerful and wins (like that'll ever happen...)

He got his a** handed to him by the main character who was tied up at that moment. He no longer serves a function.

He was just fooling around due to having his heart broken by Shirahoshi just moments before. He could have easily avoided Luffy if he really wanted to, but his heart, it was weeping too loud for him to do anything. Ah, the pains of love.

And Buggy beating Mihawk before Zoro does would be the single greatest thing Oda could ever do for this manga.

But he's a funny looking villain though, and they are always the best ones. For example, Wanze. Plus, Dekken's got that funny peace sign stance he likes to make, and that alone gives me all the reason I need to john for him.

At the moment. The whole Luffy getting past him thing just happened, he's had no time to do anything yet. Just give him some more time, he's bound to do something eventually.

The whole point is Luffy being the super-underdog. Luffy will likely lose, but the yonkou acknowledges him/spares him or shanks gets mad/luffy offers her candy

I sense Kaido is set up to be the most bad*** of the bunch, maybe even final boss, if not Blackbeard is. From what little we've heard so far, Kaido is probably the biggest a**hole in the world lol.

Luffy will probably not be able to fight on even terms with THE Yonkou, but I wouldn't be surprised if he can deal with A Yonkou.

My gosh, the flashback is going so fast. I did not expect that to happen quite this soon. The flashback started only a few chapters ago!

I'm sorry, it's just this is a flashback over something major, I can't believe Oda's going through this so fast. Here's to hoping he has a good reason.

Despite that, it's still a great flashback and I've really enjoyed it. Now I'm wondering what Kizaru is up to with Arlong.
