You talk about not wanting to wait around for an attack? IC's are even worse than Dedede in that department.

O and chibo i was just playing about the wario thing. I just said that cause of your rob remark when we all know thats your main But i will gladly play your wario. I need the match up training anyway since im sure there is a slew of new warios coming thanks to the new tier list.

I don't recall ever saying Dedede's chaingrabs were even remotely as difficult as the Ice Climbers. Get your facts straight before attempting to make a point. This ain't high school debate team.

And i realize you were comparing waiting around for a grab and DDD has a HUGE *** grab range and always is shield grabbing and CG'ing people while IC's sit there, wait for you to approach and the player thinks hopefully ill grab you

So the fact that i already know the d and fthrow cgs as well as how to link the 2 and hobble means what u just said is pointless right??

Also if u knew what u were talking about u would know that i should be focusing on all the different deesyncs,desync combos,uair combos,etc before worrying about cgs.

Although i highly doubt ksizzle "mastered" the cgs in 3 hours. It took lain months. You only master the cgs when u 100% them in a tourney setting.

It doesn't take long to learn the CGs if you really try.
I don't even know what ksizzle has to do with this.
Can everyone stop pickin up ICs after Apex kthx? I don't want everyone to be pickin up ROB after Apex2 if you catch my drift

Also, NO ONE has mastered the ICs grabs. Not even lain. I've seen him mess up multiple times in tourney recently. Is he the best at em? Yes. Is he 100% perfect? No.

Seems like I missed this whole debate thing...

Is the Ice Climbers chaingrab really that easy? It may look easy but it's not easy to do consistanly. I can chaingrab almost perfectly against my friends or CPU's but in tourney I mess up all the time as you guys have seen. And tourney is where it matters most.

Yes, Ksizzle can chaingrab after 3 hours of practice. He can 0-Death Metaknight from what I have seen. But there's a possibility that he may not be able to do this to the entire cast just yet. The different character weights makes it so that you have to adjust almost every match. Some characters are considered harder to chaingrab than others. For example, Snake is considered much harder to chaingrab than C. Falcon despite being of the same weight class because of the way his character frame is. Similarly Bowser's size leaves little room for error.

The Ice Climbers aren't all chaingrabs but I would be lying if I said it isn't a huge part of their gameplay. You have to take into account the other tools they have. Desynching is a part of Ice Climber gameplay that makes them unique. But knowing when is important too, because it's much eaiser to lose Nana this way also. Keeping Nana alive and learning how and when to save her is another issue. Being able to use Sopo effectively is also another thing to worry about. And then there's knowing what to do when being synced, or fighting like a regular character.

And then like with every character, there's learning how to punish with what. Because failing to punish and leaving yourself open for punishment can eaisly get Nana killed. You need to figure out what to do when your opponent is on the ground and what to do, how to counter rolling and spotdodging, what to do when your opponent is above you, OOS options, Edgeguarding options, if your opponent misses a tech on a platform above you, etc.

I've been maining the Ice Climbers since the game came out and I still try to find chaingrabs that are most comfortable for me based on what character I'm facing. It took me about 4 months to get to the point where I could chaingrab someone reliably, and about another one before I successfully 0-Deathed someone. There have been many instances where I feel like when I mess up a chaingrab on my opponent's last stock and lose, it was because of me messing up that one chaingrab. It's really easy to blame the mistake of the chaingrab in a situation like that, but looking back at the entire match there are things I could have done differently to prevent the match from ever being in their favor.

Also Hobbling is not an infinite. Your opponent can SDI the Ice Block towards the ledge every time, and he'll eventually reach the ledge.

SO, I just got my Laptop cord (splooken), so I'm all excited to try it out. However, there's two problems, one little, one, like, Giga Bowser size.

1. There's no grounded outlets nearby. (WTF???)
2. I'm getting some odd errors that I've never seen before, and it's bad enough I don't know much about computers.

I was looking forward to doing all the nonsense I can't do on Wiinet. I'll have to put it on hold for a bit longer. Hopefully a bit......oh lord...

You just said you seen errors on the computer. Which means obviously it did power on it just didn't boot windows. At worst u just need to reinstall windows. Unless im missing something here?

Jiggly is one of ic's worst matchups. You can't grab that puffball.

I love and hate ICs just because I **** them with my Olimar on ground (I spam Fsmashes SO much against them), but once they grab me it's an instant death.

Not many Ice Climber mains have experience against Jigglypuff. She doesn't get grabbed easily, but I think we can manage.

Diddy they say goes even with Ice Climbers, though I guess it depends on who you talk to. Defensive Diddy's tend to give me a lot more trouble than offensive ones.

Your characters don't necessarily **** Ice Climbers I don't think.

As for Olimar, I may have him figured out now. At this point, top Ice Climber mains say we **** Olimar. We have one or two scaring moves.
