I understand the point of activity requirements, but I think they're dumb when half of the state's top 10 get disqualified. imo, some players who never ever go to anything (prodigy, cactus, etc.) shouldn't be on it, but someone who has been to a handful (kadiev, truth, tusm, etc.) should be allowed, especially given how good they are. Well, I've never played you tusm but you seem to place pretty well from what results threads I've seen

we considered adding an addendum for players close to activity that wouldnt make the cut by replacing one tourney requirement with like 3 smaller ones or something. It pretty much came down to seeing how many ppl it would effect and get on there. At first it didn't seem like many, but now it seems like we might get a few noteworthy players out of it.

That's the thing, Ice Climbers require delicate control, that which you can aquire by playing a character such as Dedede, or Falcon. Button mashing gets you nowhere.

I don't see you Power Shield Grabbing. And it only takes two commands to pluck a turnip and throw it up in the air. Like I said, playing a character that requires precise timing is out of your league.
You talk about not wanting to wait around for an attack? IC's are even worse than Dedede in that department.
Flat out, you don't have the patience, timing, finger control, or skill to learn the Ice Climbers.
