Tesh, you are right. On paper it sounds like it should balance itself out. However, I said I took a lot of data, ran it through my program like normal (no loser bracket adjustment) and checked if the numbers looked right. When I did this, they did NOT look accurate. It occurred to me certain people were getting way too many points, and I thought it was because of losers bracket being twice as many rounds as winners. So I adjusted losers bracket, ran it again, and voila the numbers looked right.

So tell me though, if I beat the same exact 3 people and ONLY those 3 people in winners, how is it worth twice as much as beating them in losers?

1) "Looked right" meant the numbers felt accurate, more accurate than before. It's pretty easy to compare to lists and say "This one looks more accurate than the other," no?
2) You're right.
3) I'm planning on looking into this issue to see if it does, in fact, cause problems. If it does I'll most likely change it.

Heck no you havent. Youve been to like 1 texas tourny in the past 2 months. Ive been to 2 phases and a revolution and a hobo. Come at me bro. And the last couple I went to, I just happened to be there for family. I always let you guys know if I want to carpool etc

I'm working on re-evaluating this, as well as adjusting point gain/loss based on frequency of tournament participation. Currently in the Melee back room doing big research on making this project global.

When will this be done? Cause seeing huge jumps like Zero for example being around the mid-point of E-tier and jumping to almost top of D-Tier/bottom of C-tier cause of one tournament is pretty... off.

And congrats to K Prime for passing Espy, and Nike/Xyro finally making it to B-tier.
