I dont even main puff and sometimes I can feel the rest and just jump into them and BOOM. But aside from set ups and the occasional hard read, I never really use Rest with puff. But I dont really use puff outside of random select and to piss off IC mains.

Ignoring guaranteed set-ups (which usually only work on spacies + bad DI, so you can't rely on them at top level some of the time), hitting Rest is easier in Brawl.

Even with the set-ups, Brawl is probs easier tbh

Wait what? Rest is really easy to land in Melee. The hard part is getting that close, but it's just a simple any move -> rest -> get usmashed at 50% before you wake up when they respawn.

Nah guys

Punishing is easier in brawl in this specific instance

Like, in brawl all it takes is reading a single short hop aerial or particularly slow ground move and Jigglypuff is inside you.

Super special trick: if you expect someone to aerial, jump and air dodge pre-emptively. If they don't bite, you can just fall back (stage control is expendable as puff unless the timer is running low), if they do then you can weave into them, land to cancel air dodge lag and rest OR cross-up completely.

In melee, you can't air dodge through aerials cause it's way too laggy

far less delay between moves, you try to get inside and you're shined or nair'd before they get close

Brawl's slower gameplay lets you rest with far greater confidence basically, I rarely miss nowadays

I use puff in brawl and melee. I don't even bother with rest in brawl :s

In the full context of puff as a character, rest is harder to land. If it were as easy to land as it were in melee Jiggs would be in the top half of the cast.

I've done so via theorycraft many times in the past
Outside of that, all I can do is try to place well with her lol, which is tough when melee is my main game and I only get to go to tournaments that matter once a year

I think it's really obvious that she's good, confuses me that people can't see it

On average, the random button is in the exact middle of the cast.
is that true? is it at all skewed by the inability to land on zss or pokemon trainer being 4 characters

Well like I said, just rack some damage, then transform with the invincibility and you have a ZSS.

In my experience bombs don't last nearly long enough. They also don't ward off Falco lasers.

And hey, Samus can easily get KOs!

You should just say Pikachu:MK is even when you're joking, I'll take the hint. I also guessed you were joking but often find myself incentivized to reply as though you were serious [more on that later if you care, you probably don't.]

So... Ike vs Ike is +4 because everyone wins when two guys have enough guts to play Ike in tournament.

Eh...if we put out another tier list, predictions for the top 10 spots [and order]? If someone has another idea throw it out there, I'm out of 'em.
