I've seen V's play (but it was a while back in like March) and i've seen Attila's play. Both are really solid. I wouldn't count either out just yet tbh.

You'd need perfect seeding to draw inferences from the difference between low placing x and slightly higher placing y, and we never have that luxury. In fact, double-elim. only technically guarantees that the two players in Grand Finals are the two best in the tournament. I'm sure you've seen tournaments where 3rd and 4th (or even lower placings) were eliminated by the same people. In cases like that, it's anyone's guess whether 3rd place would've still finished 3rd if (s)he were seeded differently. Now normally, we can be confident that the higher placings reflect something like who was playing better. Yet problems with seeding only get worse the further into the lower placings you go. Hence my comment that the skill level difference between 49th and 97th in a 128-man bracket is practically indistinguishable.

The larger the bracket is, the less reliable the results, I think is fair to say (assuming you're trying to draw conclusions about the skills of the players from their placing alone)
I mean it should be obvious that outplacing someone doesn't necessarily mean you're better than, or even that you'd beat them in a 1v1. Placings in double elim brackets are pretty unreliable as a whole for info like that

I honestly didn't realize you actually played this game, Pidge.
Pshaw! No offense to Pidge, but she's not even close to being a representative of Kirby at a high level of play. I dunno about Vinnie and Peach though, looked like a noob getting lucky to me.
Match is even! Both gotta space everything, and Kirby has to play smart. Peach doesn't have much on Kirby to make the MU edge on her favor, but neither does Kirby.

Pretty sure both sides compromised to "we throw annoying stuff to each other and it's difficult to deal with a field filled with junk so we'll just say even and call it a day".
I personally think TL has slightly less problems approaching, but Samus is heavy enough and TL can't kill well so.... sounds like a tough decision....

Well, this thread is pretty disgusting. Infractions don't work on the problems in here (oh so I just need to average 1 infraction a week or less? easy peasy troloololol). Nor does asking them in person not to do this ().
I mean, I could ask you guys to step up your behaviour. But you guys ease a lot of your boredom doing this (why else would you bother to act like this?) so I can understand alternatives are better sought than diplomacy.
