Really? I love yoshi's. It's like...my fav. stage haha. I personally dislike Final D...ik i'm crazy...but i'm starting to like it more in some mu like falco. Especially after mastering the falco release CG

Also when i say understand i mean...abuse. So far only part i'm good at abusing is the solo island and the a little bit of the 3 pillars.

I love Delphino as well. =D All of the transformations seem to make people lose track of my c4. =p I actually prefer it vs D3 as opposed to about any other stage. >_>

Plus, besides some exceptions i like teaching and studying by myself. It really makes the character my own. And i just started doing that recently cuz i actually started caring

Is there anything to platform canceling with Snake besides hitting down on the Left Stick?

I keep trying, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Is it the same timing as platform canceling with the C-Stick?

I saw something about using the shield/grab button as well...

No there isn't. I suggest you just study the character and the transition will occur naturally.
