You mean battle wise? That would be infernape. If you mean my who's coolest looking then I would have to agree. Turtwig looks liike the coolest starter this gen.

Well Infernape is weak to Ground Moves and Torterra is weak to Fire Moves so both of those guys cancel each other out lol. For me I love Turtwig. I can imagine my self with a turtwig will similar personalties XD.
any ways who here think they'll change the champion? Emerald they made Wallace champ and he was the sootopolis gym in ruby and sapphire. I like Cynthia as a champ. She so awesome lol

Well it seems that Origin forme Giratina is only in Platinum. So that means it can't be Another Forme in Platinum and vice versa quote

LoL at not finding someone sexy just because she's a sprite. Also, I think she's hot because she has pokémon.

sorry for the double post but the edit button is going crazy on me.
The only person that could replace Cynthia as a Champ would have to be Volkner. I wouldn't be surprised if Volkner is going to be the new Champion.
Well unless they add 1 new pokemon thats pseudo legendary and its a electric type and give it to Volkner and revamp his Team like they did with wallace. but wallace didn't get a Pseudo legendarys

I'm still deciding if I'm going to buy this one or not. After I beat the game, I'll most likely just put it down and go back to shoddybattle. So it might not be worth it for me.

Same here, if you take your team from Diamond/Pearl, it'll just be boring. The only thing I might import is a fire type. I want to start with Piplup again, but I don't want a Ponyta on my team and I want a fire type. Unless they fix it so there's more than one fire type in Sinnoh before you get the National Dex, I'll probably pick a fire type I like, get an egg of it, and trade it over to my Platinum for a Bidoof or Starly. That way, I'm the OT so I don't have to worry about disobeying, and it starts out at level one so I can truly start from scratch.
Thank god my Pokemon shop colleagues have some sense.
She's made of pixels. Zero Suit Samus is made of pixels. They cannot be hot or sexy or anything like that. And please don't use the photo argument--the people in the photo are real. The photo may have pixels, but the people are real. Cynthia and Zero Suit Samus exist nowhere outside of the pixels they are.

But she's just a bunch of 1's and 0's! You can love a video game character with all of your heart, but they will never love you back. Please, for the sake of humanity, find an attraction in someone real.
For the record, I really don't play video games much at all anymore.

Smart idea! I also am going to send a magby,elekid, gible,larvitar egg over. Last time (and this time as well) I sent a egg of the othher 2 starters but nothing beyond that.

I might send over eggs, but i lack a second DS, mabey ill get my cousins to bring thiers, ussaly i'll do what I did in emerald, I'll go as far as I canand when i got stuck import my kickass team from s/r/fr/lg, wich i was at the elite 4,
I beat it in saphire good, but then again i spent a few hours leveling up, the diffrence in elite 4 completion between saphire and emeral is big.

Yeah, that's probably what I'll do as well. Not a whole lot of choice when it comes to fire Pokemon, but Magmar is definitely one of the best.
...Sheesh, I realized that fire Pokemon were lacking, but I never realized they were this lacking. Not including starters, there are 18 fire types, assuming I counted correctly. Hm, or maybe I could do Flareon instead? I've always loved the first five Eeveelutions, Flareon and Umbreon especially. Eh, I'll decide when the game is closer to launch.

I might be bing A little critical of that song, but, I dont like it, it seems to mainstream rap/beatbox'ish, the backing of the drum machien is very overused, if it had a not as usd backing to it it would be fine, also dont like the mixing of its cry in the music, but an opinion is an opion

Trade: No (how would they show the D/P/P pokemon when they have no sprite for them in R/S/E). Plus a DS cant connect with GBA.
Migrate: Yes.
I guess that would work... for a Pokemon game.
But it does not beat the Primus that I have playing right now.

Nah, like everyone else said, probably just migrating. Hopefully they'll improve it a little though, like the limit of importing. I see no reason for that. And maybe they can just...you know, let you put them straight into your party instead of making you go through the trouble of catching them? It takes too much time to do it as it is, and then you can only do 6 a day per game. Plus, if you change the clock for DST or because you switched Time Zones, you have to wait a whole 24 hours before you can migrate again. They need to fix that. I really, really don't understand why they do that, because it makes migrating a hassle, when I don't think it should be. Seriously, can someone explain to me the reasoning behind that? Most of the time when Nintendo does something idiotic I can at least see why they would do it. This just seems like a pointless restriction to me.majora_787 said:

I just thought of this though; what do you think will happen with PBR/Platinum communication? They can probably make them compatible, but what about forms? (Good idea, Spire, about not conforming.) My best guess would probably be that they automatically revert to the Diamond/Pearl form (Hallelujah!), but I'm curious what you guys think.
Also, I'm inclined to believe that Regigigas having an alternate form is debunked. Serebii's Thursday update was about the Regis, and they showed Regigigas (it's back sprite, anyways). It didn't look any different to me, so unless you can change it like Deoxys (which, speaking of, I picked up today), it's pretty much debunked.
Another thing I just thought of, I wonder if the ground form sprite for Shaymin will still be in Platinum, so you could theoretically hack into the game and change its sprite. I probably wouldn't waste my time, I'll just move it over to my Diamond Version, but I'm a bit curious.

I highly doubt it will. Like bowser said, it'll probably be like Deoxys. However, what would happen if someone with Diamond or Pearl had a Shaymin (ground form) and was battling someone with Platinum? The sky form Shaymin does not even exist in D/P, nor does Giratina's Origin form.

I don't think you quite understood what I was saying.
I'm saying, will they have the Ground Form Shaymin sprite lost somewhere in Platinum, so that it could theoretically be retrieved and Shaymin's sprite could be hacked to look like real Shaymin instead of Failed Potato in Platinum.
I never did know how Deoxys worked in third gen--I was never able to obtain one until I got one in a WiFi trade this generation, or completely legitimately, until today.
But I'm not exactly sure what you're addressing with the battling--do you think that you wouldn't be able to do battle with Diamond or Pearl as Platinum, or vice versa? That's actually a good point. Unless they just bring back the old rules of G/S/C, where if you do battle, you're not allowed to have any Pokemon with a special form in your party when you battle.
