platforms are useful... the curve always pisses me off but is worse for people with projectiles... which helps marth. and yay solid your sig is working.

Yes, my sig is working great, thank you for making it. And I do not like this stage for the fact that you can get stuck under the ledge quite easily, but tilt does help against projectile user.

Since the stage tilts it can be helpful for you but also it can work against you. The background can be a bit distracting once it gets to the big fight but if you can stay focused then it shouldn't be a problem.

Glad I'm not the only one to dislike this stage.

The high ceiling and (at least fairly) wide edges would seem good for Marth to recover, but I find myself struggling much more to get kills here, especially against D3 and Snake, who are pretty tough to kill anyway. In my opinion, Marth needs to get some of those characters off and keep them off early, before the tide turns (such as MK, Snake or D3). If those characters can survive longer, that just means that Marth may end up having to work and get more hits in before both Marth and his opponent are at equal opportunities to kill eachother.

Against pretty much everyone else, I would say that Marth is good here due to platform control and being able to use the tilt of the stage to his advantage when edgeguarding (and maybe recovering).

So...in summary: stage is too big vs characters you need to kill early, but it's good vs pretty much everyone else.

I'm thinking 7/10. Could be 6/10. I feel weird rating stages.

The characters that Marth have a advantage on this stage, Marth ***** anyway. Everyone that has a good Matchup on Marth is either neutral on helped by the stage.

Dedede can chaingrab you if your on the ground and utilt you on the platforms. Not to mention he can stagespike you with a bair or swallow you and spit you under the stage. Like Steel said, you cant see any of his mines or c4. It is literally Snakes playground, you cant even jump sometimes without touching a mine. The only downside is that Snakes recovery can get caught under the stage. Metaknight....meh...there is no explanation needed here.

So basically the Stage doesn't really help Marth too much. It just allows him to **** the weaker characters even more.

6/10.

Wishing Apex 2012 happened again.
7/10

When the stage tilts, Marth can actually run avoid projectile spam (i.e falco's lazerz). The underledges kinda pisses me off. the back ground distracts me at times which why i hate it alot. But the platforms are still useful for utilts etc.

I really don't like playing this stage. The curve is VERY annoying, but the platforms are still useful. 5/10

Marth on Lylat Cruise...Personally, this is not my favorite choice.

Marth can do a lot positive moves on this stage IF he is underneath the platforms. Just like in Melee you can use all of your moves to pressure your opponent to roll, sidestep, shield, etc. AKA being on the defensive while you stay on the offensive since we all know that Marth offensive game is better.

This stage (as mentioned before) has a high ceiling so doing the running Up Smash is good to use here and there but don't execpt it to kill unless it's Pokemon Stadium (Melee) or Corenia (Melee).

The N-Air is the best bet on this stage with the use of platforms. That move is just 1st choice to use if someone is on a platform. F-Air is also an amazing move but N-Air is good against the players who side step just about everything you throw at them. It's also a bit of a reaction to either roll or sidestep on a platform. Yes...nod your head because we tend to do that mistake a lot...

I would say Marth vs Snake here that Marth would not to do that bad against him. I would say might have a bit of an advantage here also. You can call me crazy but that's my opinion on this matter. I do take Snakes here quite often.

Meta Knight...well again Marth would do too bad against him here. I would say for stage advantage they are about even, maybe having one having the advantage due to players favorites or how they play with the environment.

My rating on Marth on this stage is undecided. I'm going to stick with player preferences on this matter. I know this stage can screw over Marth since it tilts here and there but hurts other characters more than it does to Marth.

If the character likes to autocancel, then the tipping in the stage helps you counterpick them, especially since marth doesn't autocancel himself.
