That's why I said "judging from those vids" in particular. I would've been more than delighted to watch a vid where he did spam well enough for me to think otherwise, the Mario match would of been a good example to do so. If you don't spam against the Fox, then show us that you can, by doing it to someone you can do it against, like Mario. So ppl who are coming to watch for the first couple times can get his style. Get it?

Sklers link is so good it spinattacked sending those planes off course. Lol hurricane Katrina? thats why skler doesn't play smash when its raining anymore. the iraq war? why do you think he doesn't spam much anymore, he's to great.

full jump nair = good idea against fox, since his shffl game beats yours. and with a full jump nair you can jump out of it after it hits them or their sheild.

but yeah to much up- b >.>

I dont have any videos of my Link on the internet. Someone in Texas has a crew match (caveman, rob$, smiles, zulu) vs (Me, Fastliketree, SoS, dr.drewthedragon, BJ) were I took off 6 stock with Link..but they never put it on youtube.

I have one team match online from 2005 were (me/sos) beat zulu/cave on match
we placed 2nd that tourney beating flt's team and rob$/smiles then beat zulu/cave the first 3/5 after losing to them in winners. then losing the 2nd set.

The purpose of video threads is to help people learn a certain character. So, they need good *** videos up of great players. For those of you who just want people to see you play/get noticed, post in the Video Discussions Section of Smashboards.com

In the first vid, try to use more bombs they help alot against capt, nice combo 1.50-1.55, although you could have killed him if you edgehog.
Try not to use so much up-b

full jump nairs works very well vs falco

you can learn to powershield...that what i did =)

the falco techs in place everytime...so u can punish him knowing this now. he also dash attacks way to much so you can just shield up b 80% of those ofcourse at the right percent so your safe when doing so.

you pretty good just need more experience...watch some germ, aniki videos and try watching for what they are doing then use that in your game play.

As you can tell the demand for your videos is very high. I feel it is necessary that you get some matches on youtube so that everyone can watch your 1337 Link in action. Do you know of anyone who might have a capture card or video camera? You must have them record your Link vs a Falco too because that is the highest in demand. Please respond to this message.

Although my Link is kind of rusty I will try my best to get some videos recorded. The only problem is the only people that I know of that have a capture card live in Houston or something 2-3 hours away from where I live lol.

GTRocksUrSocks, I like how you used your projectiles. The only thing that bugs me is that sometimes you don't try to exactly grab the edge when you do an aerial up b. Overall I think that you are good. I mean, you are fighting against a Marth!

This is an old vid of me and a friend playing, I'd say about 8 months ( thats alot sorry I have no camera so I have no recent vids). my link has surely improved, from teching of walls to bomb tech I can do it all. but no one is perfect there is always room for improvement. So opinions and advise would surely be appreciated.

Ok, so I came into the thread again and looked at KratosAurion192's videos, since I never heard of him. After seeing those, I realized why....
I think that Deva should make a "rule" where only "good" Link players should have their videos up (it's something I was told to do with my Roy video thread). Reason? Not to be mean, but for the fact that video threads pretty much serve all one purpose- to show footage people can learn from, consequently, becoming more skilled with a certain character. By showing videos of a Link spamming the spin attack, I doubt new Link players will be learning correctly.
So to keep it simple and short, I don't think that just any Link should be on first post, but hey, it's Deva's thread.

Kage, find better dudes to play against or teach those how to play. I know the vid is old but commenting on your skill from that is moot considering the guys you were fighting. In all what can be said is sloppy play against guys who have no idea how to counter random crap you do.

I respect that your being honest, but those were some old vids. Now I play people that I can't do random s@#$ as you said. I play more concervative now, throw projectiles when they're far away, and mind game them all the time. I will really try to post some recent videos, so you can see what i mean.
