Custom Music shouldn't affect me, I don't have a strm folder on the sd card to load from
2.1a glitchy or something?

In the case of music modifiers, like new pork city songs on fd, it did not happen
Custom bstrms should not affect anyone other than the one using it,
Using 3.5.1 now, I still experience occasional freezes in replays, and still don't know what's happening

Whoops, forgot about that one, however the custom sss did not affect me before
why would it act up now?
I've never known it to cause "loading time" freezes in game or desync/knock me off

it's because the stages are switched around, BUT

the replays still show the icon of the stage that it would have been (like what stage is usally there)

so, the replay thinks it was played on...say, Mushroomy Kingdom, but really you played on FD (or something like that), so it gets confused and goes schizophrenic on you.

I know the custom sss code has been known to freeze the actual game
But the freezes I'm talking about it's more like loading lag, longer than usual loading lag

Well I think I found my problem, can sd card "depreciation" play a part in it?

Well I never know unless I try...sorry if this is the wrong place

As you know, when Peach uses her Down Special she pulls up a Vegetable (Turnip as we call it). She can however pull up a Beam Sword, a Bob-omb and a Mr. Saturn as well

The type of Turnip/item she pulls up is seemingly random which is why I'm posting here. I'm wondering if any of you Brawl experts know anything about what might determine what Peach pulls up when she uses her Down Special

All I know is that she has a 1/58 chance of getting a Stitchface and that the item is determined before she actually pulls it out of the ground. I asked someone this question a while and he's very kindly provided me with this information

If: Requirement=Compare, Variable=RA-Basic[2], Comparison=1, Variable=-60000s,
Generate Article/Prop: 2,
Else:
Generate Item(In Hand): RA-Basic[2],
End If:

Version for people like me who have no idea what that meant xD

[If "Random Number" is 1 or below
-> Pull a turnip
If not
-> Pull the item that "Random Number" is
End If

I'm not after a code on how to edit what she pulls up, I'm really interested to know on what/how you could determine what she is going to pull up next (and how to abuse it in an ordinary Brawl match of course ;D). I don't want to appear lazy but I am very busy with things in life atm and I'm also hopeless with technology. If anyone could help enlighten me on the matter or would look into this for me I would be extremely grateful. Thanks in advance ^^

This most definitely is the wrong place, and there is no way to determine it beforehand.
It's random. Random number generator. there is no way to know.

Ah :x woops sorry about that, I wasn't sure where else to put it and I know you guys look into the codes behind the characters to find out stuff...

Is there nothing that determines what the RNG pops out as? I know in other games you can perform various actions to determine the RNG (Fire Emblem is a good example) but I imagine this is more complex, I've heard Peachs codes/coding is pretty nightmarish

Thanks for the response though ^^"

it might be imaginable to always get 1 or 2 kinds of turnips, eliminate the lame ones and only get stitchface or a bob omb, but i dont know for sure. i dont know who would want to play against you with that anyway.

I have a couple question about the Custom CCS:

does the 'Character ID Fix' code affects it? if it does, what can I do to customize it properly?
I got to ask again because, ironically, questions on this FAQ are left behind and ignored so easy... D=

why dont you just test it first

if there is a problem, come back with what exactly that problem is.

if there is no problem, you're fine.

in the root of your SD card, the folder expansion should go like this

private -> wii -> app -> RSBE -> pf

download this http://www.megaupload.com/?d=20HSP00A

and put it in the pf folder. err, edit, if it's a rar, extract it first, obviously.

use the program "codemanager" to export that list of codes as a gct into the "codes" folder on the root of your SD card (make that folder if you don't already have one)

that should do it... if you're confused about anything else, i have no life so im here to help.
unless you haven't installed gecko yet, in which case, i do not have the patience to help you.
Everything worked except when I exported the codes it still gets booted up as brawl + :/

what do you mean it "booted up as brawl+"?

it's possible that you have files in your pf folder for changing some aspects of the characters' moves, in which case those would replace the default ones, but all that code does is file replacement. if it's the only one you used, i dont see how anything else would have happened.

Is it possible to play with custom characters without deleting old ones? Like, if I wanted to do M2 vs. Lucario, would that be possible?

I can't find a single code for simply unlocking stuff. I don't want to have to play through a gazillion Single Player and Multi Player modes and matches just to unlock the coolest songs or whatever. Could someone point me in the direction of unlocking codes for all stages/characters/ATs/music/stickers/etc. or whip me up some of none such codes are yet in existence? Preferably for PAL since that's the version I'm using (since I live in Europe).

Go to Geckocodes.org, look up SSBB and select the RSBP01 link, there are unlocker codes in there.

They can be a bit of a pan to find on the wiird code database, so I got some for you:

Yeah, I eventually found those after sleuthing around. They unlock everything except Masterpieces (not very important) and Music (very important).

I want to unlock all songs, but I've only been able to find a code for NTSC-U for it. Does anyone know how to convert SSBB NTSC-U to PAL? Or know of a code for unlocking all songs for PAL? Or could just write one? Because some songs are idiotically hard/annoying to unlock and most of them can only be gotten through random spawn o_O.

Hey...I have a few requests for textures for Captain Falcon. I think it would be great if someone could make a Speed Racer/Racer X texture for him. Sorry if this is not the place to ask this.

I've been having problems trying to create textures for characters who have an indexed texture. Even if I use GIMP to change the indexed colours and whatnot, they still don't turn out right when I go to create the texture.

Does Photoshop allow me to edit textures, and will using Photoshop fix my problem?

I want the code for infinite replay and tags during replays. Could someone give me the files and a brief description on how to make a folder to this code. Have folders for character textures and stage textures.

Infinite Replay:
040E5DE8 60000000

Replay w/ tags:

works with wifi, obviously. if you have textures already im assuming you have the program "code manager". open up code manager and put in two different "categories", i believe they're called, one for each of those codes, and then one more for file replacement so your textures work.

make a folder called "codes" in the root of your SD card, and when you hit "export to .gct" in codemanager, you just select the directory of your SD card and it'll automatically put the .gct into your "codes" folder.

just boot up the game with gecko and you'll be good to go.

if in the even that you have the files for textures but have not ever loaded codes before, i can help with that too.

I'm looking for the code that makes G&W glow. It's not a texture hack (I dont think), because G&W's attack's don't become solid black like they do when you use a G&W texture. Also, it doesn't overwrite all of his colors. Instead, it's just normal G&W color + a glow or shiny element. It looks amazing with light blue and green.

Does anyone know of this code and where I can get it? I last saw it at Oh Snap 5, which was in August. Didn't know who's wii it was on.
