Paprika Killer said he didn't have the time to port the NTSC-U code for unlocking all songs into PAL (he also said something about it not being the best set of codes). He said that he wasn't the only porter, just the only active one. Anyone else willing to help? :p

How do you make BRSTM in normal audio editing programs? I have Adobe CS3 Soundbooth at my disposal. I'd rather not have to get a new one...even if it's free.

I can make BRSTMs in the Music Selection GUI program thingy by Dantarion....but is there a way to do it in other audio programs?

Thread links anyone?

believe me, you don't want to do it with another program.
like
you DO NOT.
get dantarion's, no matter what software you have, it can never ever amount to the efficiency of dantarion's program.

Alright...but I just have my reservations of so many re-renders of the audio file.

I do remember a thread SOMEWHERE (cant remember anymore since im not a frequent user here) where it should and gave you specs on how to make it with like Goldwave....I'll probably end up using Dantarions program from your post lol...but I still want to look at the specs for how I should edit stuff in other audio programs and junk. Can I please have that link to that thread if you know it?

Why is it that you cannot use SD cards larger than 2gb? Is there some workaround that lets you use 4gb SD cards? I live in kind of a podunkville and I don't really feel like driving 10 miles to get an SD card when I already have one.

Because SD cards that are larger than 2gb are SDHC cards, which aren't compatible with Wiis with a version less than 4.0 and Gecko version less than 1.9.2 (I believe), and even then their working is sketchy, because they weren't intended to work for the wii when it was built.

I'm looking for a code set to allow me to rearrange the Stage Select Screen, much how you can rearrange the character select screen. We're trying to stream line things in my state, and by putting all of the counter picks together, it'd make life easier for everyone.

Since over time our CPUs mimic our play styles better and better, I thought of something.
Whatever data it is that changes the CPUs like that, it has to be stored as a code somewhere in the Wii, right?

So could there be a way to rip it off the console, upload it to a computer, and send it to people? If that's possible I think the best players could SELL that code. If I could get my CPUs to play anywhere NEAR the way I see people playing in these tournaments, I'd pay money for it. Definitely.

I need help. You see, I just learned how to program in codes, so I made the .txt file and copied it t my SD card. Then I read you need a homebrew ap called cheatmanager. So I went on my homebrew browser, but after about an hour, I still can't get connected to it. So I'm asking, does anyone have a downloadable version of this ap so I can program in the codes. Also if you can make sure that I can set everything up on a mac, I'd appreciate it.

The CPU doesn't get better as you play it. My Wii has been played by all of the best in Louisiana with great character specialists such as Hyro, Cyphus, and Lee. Toon Link, Dk, and Lucario still play the same way they did day one.

Computers can't learn, hence they can't get better over time. It is true that the computer mimics somethings used while playing, but I have been doing canceled aerials since the release and my computer still can't do it. COMPUTERS DON'T LEARN, they are programed to act according to what you input, hence you think they are getting better, but they are only doing what they are programed to do. Even if your theory was true, data from players would be impossible. Want to know why? COMPUTERS DON'T THINK, they are programed. Even if they had all this knowledge from players, they would not know how to use it.

Learn basic knowledge about computers.

skater are you serious?

Is he serious??

Woah dude, is everything ok here?

Please explain to me what it was about my question that provoked such an outrageously rude reply.

I didn't use the word 'learn'.

I need a code build that only has the unlimited replay, unrestricted camera, and hold buttons to choose spear pillar stage type. I use the SD card start up from stage builder. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Can somebody hook me up with the current gct build of brawl+ 5.0 but WITHOUT 'throw modifier' code enabled? I read that this is what causes FS glitches in 5.0. Please and thanx.

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. And how exactly do I do these codes using the method without Homebrew? Also, what is tags in replays?

I want to modify the CPU's actions in Brawl. Nothing major, but just to make computers use better moves more often, or disable them from using ****ty moves. Basically it would allow me to practice when no one else is around.

I'm eager to learn how to modify Brawl's code if this is possible. Does anyone know?

Ah, I see. That's kinda what I thought it might have been. I also need the code to disable custom stages, since I use the non-Homebrew method.

i have never heard of this non-homebrew method.
it sounds like you're asking how to hack your wii without hacking your wii and i don't necessarily know that it's possible.

but it could be, idk. either way, i can guarantee you that installing the homebrew channel will be worth it in the long run.

The no homebrew method works through a stage hack, in a way. you need the disable custom stages code.

basically, you load up normal brawl, go into your custom stages, and select the hack. (you can't have any normal stages in here or it won't work.) this loads up gecko.

Hey, guys I'm having an issue with having custom music. I change the file format, and did all the rest of the appropiate steps, yet it's not working. Does anyone have any clue why?

Do you have the HBC, File Replacement V3.5.1 and are the renamed to their appropriate stage?

Is it possible to use custom images as an icon in Wifi?

Yes, I have Homebrew Channel, the File Replacement. Renamed to their appropiate stage, can you go a little more in depth?

The last part about using custom images I don't know.

Thanks for your help by the way :).

they have to be named correctly. >.>

like, X05.brstm , etc. ---- go to the textures without ISO hacking thread. I believe it has the correct name for each song you want to replace.

Yes, but only if the person who you are wifying with also has that icon replacing the exact same image.

Exactly how to replace images as wifi icons is currently unknown, as I've only seen the teaser on Elite Smash Hackers, and they haven't written a guide or information post for it yet.

I've got a problem I've had for a while now.

If my SD card is inserted into my Wii...there's a 50% chance my Wii will NOT start...it'll be on...but the screen will be pitch black. How do I stop that from happening? I believe my Homebrew and Gecko are up to date. Not really sure why it's doing this...When I keep my SD card out of my Wii...but then immediately insert it anytime after the initial "Press A" black screen with text appears...I'm good to go and nothing bad happens. But if I insert it before that...aka before the Wii is on...it turns black.

Second concern...BootMii doesn't work as a result of this weird malfunction of SD card sized proportions. I ended up deleting it thinking that would stop the Wii from freezing when I turn it on with my SD card inside....I'd like it to work...but maybe these two problems are related in cause.

Is there a place that lists all of major codes? I'm asking this because I want to compile a codeset that would include the following...

- Custom Textures/Musics
- Default Rules (eg. 8 minutes, 3 stock, Team Attack on)
- Infinite Replays
- Tags in Replays
- Independent Pokemon

...I've looked around but I'm having trouble finding a good Independent Pokemon / Character CSS.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

I have a question that has to do with the file replacer code. I have this problem with my Wii. ever since my bro dropped it, the system can't read Toon Link nor Wario (whenever they are selected, the game crashes and I get a green screen saying it couldn't read the disc.). I already tried with other discs but with no luck. now I recently got an idea on how I could fix it. if I were to place all files under TLink's and Wario's fighter folder from an ISO into my SD card, would I be able to play with them again? would I need anything else?

that's the best compilation of common codes i know if. since i'm a decent guy and i feel like contributing, i've taken the liberty of compiling what you've asked for.

Here's a smart question this time guys.

Can you make certain projectiles turn into an item?

Example: Yoshi's eggs?
it's definitely possible, i've seen peaches turnips turned into CDs... but it only changed the graphic. like, it doesn't actually change the item.

i don't think it has been done yet so i dont know if it's possible to actually change the item itself.

I've been having a lot of trouble trying to deal with indexed textures. I'm new to the whole texture editing process, and indexed ones always seem to cause problems. Can anyone give me some tips on fixing this?
