OK so FD...

I personally do not like ths stage very much, mostly because of the lip and how it destroys your recovery, and how it reflects the need to practice hitting the ledge instead of sliding up a slanted wall like on BF or Smashville. Other than that, I'd say it is a 7 because there are no platforms to help you out like on BF, which is unfortunate.

With FD's lip and lack of platforms, I'd give this stage a 6 or 7. A mistake under the ledge can cost you an early stock, and the lack of platforms back fights against projectile users harder. Personally, I can't stand the stage at all, but thats probably because platforms are a big asset in my playstyle.

Ok, also I'd like toadd tha reverse DS here is a must if you want to stay alive, because even if to don't snap to the ledge, you can DI back into it, so master it people!

The ledge isn't much of a big deal.

This is good for characters like Snake because you can juggle trap easily. Also good for grab release set ups where your opponent jumps out (ie meta knight).

Lip is overrated... Honestly its pretty rare that you fall under it as Marth. If you do go under, Reverse Dolphin Slash can usually get you back up, but if you know what you're doing you wont fall under there in the first place.

Besides that, it's pretty average for Marth. Like a 6.5-7. Marth can keep the mach under control with his sword just like he can anywhere else. Not much to say here....

Unlike BF, I dont have such an easy time juggling here. I definitely agree about the grab release though.

*EDIT: Sorry for double post :/

Steel you are definitely right abou the grab release thing because no platforms interrupt it. And I don't think the lip is too bad, it just gets on my nerves.

If you're stuck in a certain part of the lip, you're screwed however. <_<

As in you reverse Up+B to get out, but you fly too far out to grab the ledge.

Yes Viet, definitely true but you can use that thing where you curve DS back making it more vertical than it normally is, I believe someone made a thread about it a while back, but it can be helpful here and is easy to do, just jam the control stick to the side after Up-B'ing in the direction you want to go.

Lip isn't too much of a problem for me anymore. I get stuck under it once every fifteen games on final d at worst now. And usually, those are on wifi lulz.

I'd give this a 6.5. As steel said, grab releases are great here because you have the space to do them. I don't like fighting people with good projectiles here for obvious reasons though. It encourages long range camping a bit too much for me....Not to mentions good snakes can utilize the range to set up rather frustrating traps via nades, mortars, and mines here, etc. It becomes a rather large pain, especially since you're forced to approach. It's not a matter of just juggling, but the question of how the hell you get snake in the air.

Did I win the first one? And are you saying there was lag? none for me...
You won that, along with many others. There was very little lag. Honestly, no johns but I blame it on the fact that my roommate and I were having a fsmash battle before-hand....so I was trying to get rid of my stupidity mentality.

Regardless, wrong place to discuss.

But ya...this stage is...big.....and......neutral.....-.-

hmmm. 7 for me. We obviously went over the lip, it seems if youre even a little experienced you can get by, it's no big deal. It's a good stage to train and practice on and determine spacing for me, so I like it a little more than most people because it's easier for me to figure out spacing.

Of course CG's last longer, and this place as a little advantage for people who can wall jump, because they hop off the lip and dodge your attacks while hopping from the lip to the edge. At least, I know Falco is capable of this. It's not too much of a problem though.

I sort of like that you can see projectiles clearly, although there is nothing threatening their path.

Don't really like this stage with him, just because of no platforms and lip. Otherwise it's a pretty large stage, just average. 6/10

I think I'd give FD about a 7. Overall I really think it's an easy stage for marth, though. I've only fallen under the lip a couple times and most of them are completely my fault and could have been prevented. The only thing that makes it hard is projectiles and lack of platforms really, but just those two things can ruin the game for marth players quite easily. I think a 7 is perfect.

I like this stage if your not fighting anyone with very spamming projectile attacks. Like if its Marth vs Ike then I like it but if its Marth vs Samus or Falco then I head straight for Battlefield lol.
